Willock can and should play in the Lingard role. He will be effective in that role as he was last season.
-
Love it, we get to renew the rivalry then leave them in our rear view mirror
-
I think we get him this evening and, unless it is "London Calling", surely we would be a be in a position to sign him permanently if he has a good experience.
-
I can only see us or Wet Spam being the final destination even as a free agent. We could give him that now and save the dickering about. He is a good player, much better than anything we have and should be ok for a 3 year stint.
-
Fair enough. I guess a loan with an option to purchase is about as best as we can get so long as the option to buy is agreed and both parties have to agree (ie both we and he want to sign the option)
-
Why dont we just buy Lingard and insert a relegation clause?
-
Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

I think it is a risk for him and us. Would he play enough or be on the bench or U-23s? -
Bolton. What a ding dong Doo
-
Ouch. Another play off loss beckoning?
-
Which translates to "Give us more money"

Hmmm ok: Russian citizen owned club and USA citizen owned club.
-
Willock was back to where he plays best: further forward. DM and CB are where we need the investment
-
I doubt Man U will deal with us as helping us go down would delay the competition for a further year. Move on

Lille lost 2-0.
-
DOF wants a 50 million contract and a relegation clause?
-
Is Iron Mike available? Still an upgrade on Capt Calamity.
-
I imagine Manu would rather we went down. 10m to them is neither here nor there
-
I'll be amazed if this happens. In fact every single club is coming in with massive demands: in summary I would be more likely to go for players that have a) a release clause that is not crazy or b) champo level players on the rise.
-
A 5 month contract essentially.
-
Maybe we need to be aiming a bit lower. Since we have Championship CBs and where we are in the table are CL standard players realistic?
-
Almiron failed to track the runner. I thought Dummett was decent.
-
Wingers kept cutting inside instead of going outside and getting the cross in. Bizarre
-
Rational. LOL
-
It weakens Burnley significantly and Norwich are down. That means we need to scramble above Watford, who we just happen to be playing next and now we actually have a double digit per season striker. Or we can all wet our knickers because it isn't Messi.

The most common sense post I have read in a while
