Was Rico not highly rated at Sevilla? Not sure about being rated but he's always been s***, IMO. Weak wrists and can't catch. They should have done what we and Brighton did last season and kept most of the squad that got them promoted and brought in only 4 or 5 players for the first team.

I know it shouldn't have to come to this, but if Benitez did sign a new contract I wonder would he be happy to use his transfer budget for one summer on improving the clubs facilities and just rely on loan players. I do think he really wants to stay.
