Jesus , another painful thread! For what its worth , i truly believe the deal is done. I suspect the delays are more to do with the new owners getting the house in order before any announcement.i actualy believe the deal has been done for a couple of weeks.

I too have thought this and it slightly worries me as im pretty sure they have a big plot around the racecourse. I am also sure if the saudis want a new stadium they will want the best in the world , never mind poxy extensions to the gallowgate. I would hate to see a new stadium built anywhere but the city centre so i hope my fears are unfounded.

I think any takeover talk should be completely ignored for now. For me , the tipping point will be when we hit 40points , if there is anything in this , i believe this is when it will happen. When it doesnt , it rubber stamps the belief of many that he will never ever sell the club.

Then you can argue if they where goalscoring strikers... I would deem a 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 stiker as a proper goalscorer. Theres not too many in that list.

They could go and buy Sheff Wed, large fan base, ripe for a new stadium and facilities. He wont pay for stadiums and facilities though plus sunderland already have those .he wont even need to pay for new seats.
