Surprised to see such high ratings. I’m gonna go with a six though I think I might be being generous.
Ramsdale. Pretty good for a back up though I think we were looking for someone to come in and take Pope’s spot. He might still do that, but for now Pope is number one and we all know we wanted Trafford.
Thiaw. Not really sure what to make of this signing he has some good attributes no doubt. But from what I’ve seen Milan fans were happy to see the back of him.
Ramsey. Good player, but I worry about his injury record and whether or not we could have got a better deal abroad. I don’t think he really adds much different.
Elanga. Again seemingly a good player, but I wonder if we could have got someone better abroad, especially for the fee. Also doesn’t really offer much different.
Woltemade. A very unique and interesting player profile. Seemingly rated highly and an international to boot. I’ve heard people say we’ve over paid but I’ve never seen him play. Hopefully someone that Eddie Howe can turn in to a superstar, because we’ll need one to replace the one that’s left if we are to kick on.
Wissa. Good player, proven in the league, bad price and bad age, surely we could have got someone better or similar for cheaper on the continent.
Really not happy with the price we got for Isak. And the way we have capitulated to their demands.
Good price for osula, would like for him to have stayed and developed but at least we’re getting a good price for him.
Still think we’ll struggle against low blocks. So while we’re better off in terms of depth, a fundamental weakness hasn’t been addressed.
