I wonder if we'll do the usual panic spend in January. 40mil on two more shite horses.
-
Beggars belief, doesn't it?
-
It'll be a hoot if Steve locates his nuts and starts leaving Mike's precious little asset on the bench.

Need to go back to basics Back Page of the Ronny on Monday

Godzilla, I'm fucking loving this game. I'm loving the fact that mike has spunked his meagre annual outgoings on absolute cart horse. I'm loving the fact that his dirt cheap manager is failing. I'm loving the fact the scabs and drones are getting what they deserve. It's a tiny tiny step to getting my club back.

How can you love a club that has no soul. People want us to sink low to rid the club of sheep and the parasitic c*** at the top. How can you not get that ? It's for the greater good. Don't go and protest but to actually want your team to get beat is just sad

Hilarious this. Joelinton is less potent than Steve Bruce's floppy cock.
-
I hope we get humped and the 3 Steves all go mental when Lord Maximum decides to play in all 10 outfield positions.
-
It's frightening that manager and players are coming out with this. 2 shots on target and couldn't even get anywhere near their goal 2nd half when we had apparently thrown caution to the wind. Lush use of "thrown caution to the wind". Can you show Lee Ryder how to use it properly?

Does Steve Bruce actually play the blood, thunder and Stoke way? I'd always assumed he was one of them Pardew, McClaren types where it's impossible to decipher what happens Monday to Friday.

Good piece but I dont think its a big mystery whats going on. To me there seem to be to types here. 1) The obvious trolls like Richard Keys or Talksport who just try to make ludicrous claims to get a reaction/clicks/views/callers what ever. 2) The ones who have it in their best interest to keep a steady interest in every day events at the football club for business reasons. Who's fit for Saturday, what did Jonjo eat for breakfast today etc. These are the ones who tow the "lets move on and focus on football" line like the local papers. The whole of Newcastle boycotting the football club isnt good business for anyone in the media. Do agree but I think there's a 3rd type personally - people within the football media who have always hated Newcastle, who begrudged us having one of the best teams around in the 90s and 00s, who are delighted to see us back "in our place" now and therefore talk Ashley up or play his disastrous ownership down at every opportunity. They want us to fail and Ashley is the perfect man to facilitate that. The 3rd types you refer to have been most instrumental in lowering our expectations. For 10 years our superfans have been turning their noses up at any whiff of ambition. "No wonder they call us deluded." Yeah, god forbid Stan Collymore or Paul Merson thinks we're aiming above our station.

No way in a month of Sundays we are finishing 5th again, not unless Joelinton turns out to be far better than his stats would suggest - and if that is the case we will have to eat humble pie and give credit to our scouting team. That season we finished 5th we had a front three of Cisse, Ba and Ben Arfa, that would frighten a lot of teams tbh. I think the pundits are right, survival will be all we are looking for, whether that means finishing 12th or 17th doesn't really matter. Sorry to be pedantic but I can't let Pardew get away with this. We actually kept a fully fit Ben Arfa on the bench until the second half of the season. Alan preferred Obertan. Later, Sammy Ameobi would render both Frenchmen defunct.

It's the connection Rafa has with the club, fans and area that's the main thing I'll take from it. If Ashley ever did sell then any sane new owners would surely move heaven and earth to bring him back. And he would gladly come if contracts etc allowed. Back to BZG: as if they wanted to buy the club but didn't want Rafa It was all a load of smoke. It was all a load of money wasted on PR. Ashley should've just came out and said "I'm not keeping Rafa because Geordies are cretins and I've urinated on all the seats". Wouldn't stop the superfans.

How sad it is that the owner sticking his fingers up at fans, shitting on club legends and letting the stadium fall apart isn't enough to keep people away, but losing some games might.

The pass was short insomuch as it did require Willems to come and meet it. But it wasn't a 50-50. It was a 99-1. A schoolboy would've taken two steps forward and met the ball. It was Willems' fault.
-
You said it directly in the other thread: you simply don't care. If that's your justification for going then there's no argument to be had.
-
Freddie Shepherd passed on his wisdom before he sold up. Sacks SBR, gives that unmentionable Scottish twat 50 million to spend.

Excellent post. I can't add anything more.

Reading that just makes me hate the 45,000 Ashley supporters even more. I really wish Rafa, Kev or Al would come out and put the questions to Fun88ers.

Totally agree on this, once Brewcie gets his feet firmly under the table and he's binned the fancy dan foreign muck for English blood and thunder and we're still getting whacked at the bottom of the table opinions will change. However that will just lead the press to confirm we're deluded and fickle like they've always said, double edged sword I'm afraid. No offense lads but that stuff is just pathetic horseshit, aye he's crap but his signing in his past jobs are from all over the world, he's many things but not what you're inferring there like. Exactly. He doesn't care if you're black, brown, yellow (orientals make very good workers). And he's signed El-Mohammady seven times.
-
I hope we get trounced the next four games so the HappyHeaven88 muppets turn on him and make him cry, and then Lee has to try and explain to Mike what went wrong. “Mike doesn’t understand football. Sometimes it confuses him.” ~ King Alan Pardew

If precedent is anything to go by, somebody who isn't a useless t***. Shearer and Rafa have been his last two Hail Mary efforts. Depends when the sacking comes down. The three times it was early / mid season we were lumped with Kinnear, Pardew and Carver None of those managers were brought in to save us. Steve's replacement, be it early, mid or late season, will be given the task of keeping the Donnay signs on the telly. I can see Mike shitting the bed again and bringing in someone competent. Nobody competent would take it I hope you're right. The FMA should fucking blacklist us.
