  1. Actually got to the point where I just want things to get back to normal where football can be played and attended. Gone right off the boil with the takeover because of it.
  2. Yet I couldn't care less about Everton, never have done or known anybody that did.
  3. Stifleaay though, "out of touch" is the point. Martin Samuel is the "journalist" least out of touch. Its not just that one interview, he''d been an obvious apologist and probably shill long before that for Ashley. His stance on Ashley completely contradicted his views on West Ham's owners, I believe he's a West Ham fan!?, who have been far less abysmal than Ashley. Pretty sure he's at least tacitly part of the Ashley, Wise etc clan. That's the problem.
  4. I've believed every other one bar Staveley #1 for about a week was a scam worst case scenario is being rid of Ashley have been right 95% of the time on these things. I'll believe it when its confirmed and only then. By scam I mean Ashley not really wanting to sell and these events being of benefit to him somehow, a smokescreen for recent events in this case.
  5. So what about legal documents signed by BOTH parties and submitted to companies house. You can’t bullshit that. If anybody can he can. If anyone would pull out of this somehow and knowing every loophole known to man to exploit, it'd be him. Hope it is legally binding and maybe just a final sick twist on is way out. I didn't think they'd set up monochrome aquisitions a year ago just for a scam but they did. Each one has been more elaborate than the last via the law of diminishing returns. I might have said on here that the next one would only need the i's dotted and the t's crossed and the one after that just the i's dotted. Hope its wrong but
  6. He is the mouth-piece of the regime. And proud of it which is pathetic for a so-called journalist especially a sports-one and as a man. So this will be right. He will know. He will have been told. Too much smoke. Season ticket time, bad publicity the other week - all forgotten. Just as all the media will forget being hoodwinked by the same odious c**t that tried to rake cash in whilst risking everyone's lives. The only thing that was different was his losing money during lockdown and football being postponed. Reality check for those that have their concerns about the takeover/fakeover. Its something like that, or this for the rest of at least Ashley's life.
  7. Even if it doesn't those memes, gifs and comments above hit my g-spot (they were back in December 2017 regarding the same exact story too mind)
  8. even though I heard a request for more 2000's based questions (not my fortay) and less stadium (especially old stadiums) questions (my fortay) I'm in.
  9. "character" as in "we showed great character..." (to equalise, come from behind to win) therefore it must have shown bad character to go behind and the same can be said of the opponent. Its just sport that to's and fro's as was the intent from the start, why some call it 'entertainment' its as much the jockeying as the actual skill on show. All tennis players would be nuclear manic depressives if it was "character" to win a game or a point and lose several too.
  10. Cheers for sorting it Neesy. aye, was good that. Most tech-ed up I've ever been too.
  11. like waiting for the last ball out in the lottery that was
  12. Terry Wilson might have been signed on loan before either McDonaugh or Kilcline.
  13. Didn't catch the final scores (making a cup of tea) and missed the start (so couldn't keep track of answers either) the football equivalent of one of those that waltz in after kick-off and nick off before the end missing a goal. Barclays directory has Kilcine signing one day before McDonaugh, for the record. Thought the Union Berlin ground was Antwerp - similar sides and I know theyve done the end up since we were there. Thought there was a Newcastle in Europe theme with Juventus, Rangers and Bilbao preceeding it
  14. Just downloaded and installed zoom. Don't know what else am supposed to do other than let you's know I'll have a whirl, if i can
  15. The one I think was the best: Shearer v Everton (Cisse v Chelsea, Ginola v Ferencvaros) my personal favourite: Tino's hat-trick goal v Barcelona (great view and the nufc peak) (Albert v Man U, Ginola v Ferencvaros) one I went wildest for: McGhee's 2nd v Leicester in the 5-4/Ferdinand equaliser in the cup at Chelsea 96/Kelly v Portsmouth hidden gem mentions: Bracewell v Villa 94, Gavin Peacock v Swindon 92, O'Brien at mackems 91, Batty v Wimbledon 96
  16. If I had a pound for everytime I heard or read something akin to that over this era I could, but wouldn't, buy a season ticket (one of the non-free ones) with it.
  17. Were in the no-news-for-a-few-days part of the fakeover now aren't we? Its some tenuous link in a few days to keep it stoked a bit longer next.
  18. "Ashley is increasingly keen to sell the club and 'wants done with it'. and yet, once again, it won't be sold, how very odd
  19. He's progressed through many more clubs On the topic, its worth baring in mind these headlines from not even a year ago Managing Director of Bin Zayed Group releases statement having 'agreed terms' to buy Newcastle United Mike Ashley agrees to sell Newcastle United - Report Newcastle owner Mike Ashley agrees to SELL Toon to Arab Sheikh for £350million Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan representative says deal to buy Newcastle is concluded - Report Its really no different now.
  20. That's exactly the kind of person I've always took him for. What. A. B*stard.
  21. People shouldn't quit even if that's the case but they will though there is no point in going back when you know 100% its a charade that you can't emotionally invest in, there's nothing to gain for a fan in that. If he won't leave we absolutely must and must start getting our stuff together - use the lastest pack of lies as a catalyst finally. Without the fans all he has is the club name, an empty stadium and some records. The more people leave and don't go back the more the chances of getting rid of him increases. If we'd been here and kept the momentum 13years ago I don't think he would be. How come the only ones who don't realise that the club isn't for sale and never has been are well paid journalists. We should be the ones being paid and read not them lying c**ts.
  22. Would be more fun if we lost than if we won. Thanks Mike. I get a feeling that Burnley's recent results will benefit us. Our need is greater and they are just an average team - better than us and with a far better manager admittedly. That's a hunch. What is for certain though is that it is going to be atrocious. Greatest league in the world, the glitz, the glamour, the jazzed up self serving bubble inflating ridiculous money version of Port Vale or Bristol Rovers at home in the 2nd division in 90/91.
  23. Hopefully Ashley. Beyond that I don't give a single s***. If we get relegated.... nobody should really care. Promotion, relegation, wins, losses, staying up - none of it matters and everybody knows it if they thought about it for a minute. The only person that benefits from us being in the PL is Ashley and Ashley benefits to the same tune as the club loses. So stuff it. We know what being in the premier league will beget us and its intolerable and unacceptable to many of us. As the above poster says. I'll take my chances on the unknown because with this club its knowing what the future is that's the scary thing. This, comatosed NUFC until Ashley dies. Its a bad stat. But stats under the c**t should be expunged anyway because its not like we've put up a fight been in genuine competition, we've been like the breaking-down Oliver McCall of football for 13years.
