Southampton put 8 past Newport. We needed pens. Guess who the media thinks has the best manager? -

Mr "the cups, yeah we go for those" record: Out every cup for three years at the first trace of playing a team in the same divison with one goal for to show for it. (*also only beat teams from the bottom two leagues whilst at Aston VIlla, anybody would think he was completely finished) -

Couldn't have been a worse night for them, on the plus side. Unfortuantely they're too thick, gelded and spineless to realise that. -

First manager in history (not just ours) to lose three successive games to teams in claret and blue? -

Couldn't agree more. Instead of break from the old routine, we incubate the negative, bare minimum, pokey, small minded mentality we have every other game -

Wish he'd Lurpak it in. -
Well he's really showed those people who abused him with vegetables since he left. Should have been desperate to win this and be fuming through gritted teeth in the interview, but nah, we fulfilled the fixture, he fulfilled his remit, off to cash the cheque and watch Man United, no f**ks given
-
Tomorrow will be a load of emails and calls about that. Along the lines of "for 25years I've thought he was a prized c**t based on a mountain of evidence but that soft interview/self promotion excercise has made me question my entire existence". Pardew/Coleman-syndrome. With probably the same outcome a few months later. Back to being a c**t whilst we remain as s**t a club as ever and this interview will mean nothing.

I'm not listening to it all I'm saying is just knew people would say that. People say they 'just want some communcation from the club' - I don't, m akes no difference to me but that's probably why they're tossing the seals this fish

Knew people would say this so did the club probably

Yep. Disgracefully no manager is actually safer. Results don't even matter here. -
Wow -painted the walls at the training ground AND removed one of the dead pigeons snared in the stadium. Eat your heart out Leicester.

Apart from the Chav/trainspooter/Ashley Generation element that will be present in the away support to a degree - an entire stadium full of people supporting two distinct clubs who can't stand Bruce, having experienced years of him as their manager - his football, his waffle - that are all completely wrong, as the media see it, the media that hasn't experienced Bruce as manager and watched only a fraction of his games. Remember when Villa went on a 10game winning streak after Smith took over from Bruce, without spending a penny, lifting Villa from lower half of the table to promotion? The media don't -
Still not listening to it. Talk Sport but replaced the baiting with sycophancy. Without vetting first call would be almost word for word like this skit on Fantasy Football where somebody calls up Gary Lineker's football show thinking it was 606 (with David Mellor) and says 'oy 'ate you , you pig faced scumbag pretending to know about football, you make me vomit' Pridey "well what do you think of that Ando" Ando "its his opinion and he's enttitled to it" at 8.06

I think, maybe wrongly, part of Pardew wanted to kick the club forward, even if for his own benefit - like winning something, and was frustrated - I think I remember feeling he was very disappointed to lose Cabaye, but had to say otherwise outwardly. Bruce, a self-professed fan of this club, 100% comfortably goes along with whatever the regime say or do with relish. Pardew's like a used car salesman you can entertain and keep at arms length cos both you and him know hes a c**t but Bruce plays the pathetic, pity card and disarm you but ultimately despite your hiring him and giving him extended paid compassionate leave he'll thank you by stabbing you in the back at a drop of a hat to work for a scumbag.
-
Bothers the regime why else respond every single time there's a protest/boycott if something bothers the c*nts running the club I'd like to give them more of it until they choke instead of easing up on them so they can carry on desecrating it. I actually got that from knowing Blackpools gates and from reading up on the Oystons(https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8421156/blackpool-fans-rejoice-oyston-out-12-point) so eat sh*t on that one

Never known anybody more comfortable, more adept at post match comments after a defeat than Bruce, hand and glove. Almost like he considers anything but a stuffing something to be personally proud of
-
Oh yes, he'll have to get his traditional Old Trafford forfeit in and have a laugh with Ole about it straight after first
-
His career is littered with them. Spent double what he got for Beardsley replacing him with Paul Stewarrt, Nigel Clough and Dean Saunders. Whilst Beardsley tore it up for five more years - Stewart was loaned to 2nd tier Palace then given a free to 2nd tier mackems, Clough given a free-transfer to relegation bound Man City then a free to Forest then vanished and Saunders had 1 good year at Villa before becoming a journeyman. Now works as an expert on TV.

Does anybody have that 'We Like Patsy Kensit'Euro92 documentary while were on it? Somewhere I've got Harry Palmer on what became Soccer Saturday, didn't look like he enjoyed the attention but was actually a lot more serious than that show would soon become

Read that MBS and Infantino have have been having meetings. Be tricky for MBS to prove separation from himself so the worlds governing body must have a different set of rules to one of its leagues. Don't feel anything about this anymore, so not saying any good will come of it for us but no bad will because I'd actually just laugh now at our takeover being blocked whilst there's a world cup in Saudi Arabia that all the moralists watch or attend.
