Phone's down and laptop doesn't have a cam.

Haven't got the tech otherwise I'd help you out and get back into these. Must have evolved since the last time I played. Like the new graphics on the Chase
-
Johnson, Grayson, Moyes and Coleman hounded in the last 5years. But other than that, and Bruce, and Reid, and WIlkinson its definitely not the sort of thing mackems do. (*think you'd have to back to Souness for 4 managers we've hounded after Sam, Pardew and Bruce and Jim Smith at a push in the last 30years. So Mag behaviour like)
-
that's exactly it for me too. Made the mistake of not rubbing their noses in it 92-99 and 01-pre Ashley Barely knew they existed 92-99, even when we were in the same division they were in the relegation zone and we were going for titles, maybe heard their result leaving the ground maybe didn't. Then after the entertainers, challenging for the title, FA cup finals, Europe, Champions League, Barcelona whilst they spent one relegation season in the top flight. Then they beat us for the first time in 9years and it white-washed that away. Other than their attitude towards us warranting it, they're just Middlesbrough to me now and have been most of the last 35years.
-
Right, now lets get rid of Ashley and completely forget these even exist
-
Quintessons "I am uncertain how to celebrate it." "Perhaps... a quiet chuckle." "Very well then. Let us... chuckle."

The problem is its going to take someone to pay over the odds to shift Ashley and they are the only way its going to happen. Used to get annoyed when people said of Staveley takeover1 that that group didn't have "Man City money" or Anderson on the radio saying can never compete with Man City. Like its better to stick with Ashley than have a club doing what pretty much every other club does and tries. Was no reason we couldn't have done what Spurs have done and be where they are, we did pre Ashley.

Newcastle United vs Sheffield United - 19/05/21 @ 1800 - Live on Sky
Wolfcastle replied to 54's topic in Football
Half day, bite to eat, wind up fans who want better for the club on the match thead, pop into the takeover threads to do the same, then off to the match. Magic eh. For certain types. -
Just seen the BBC touch on the Joshua fight set for Saudi. To be fair they did touch on some of the controversey around it. Infuriatingly this ammounted to nothing more than how hot it was going to be. No piracy, human rights, grieving widows, protests, dissent, Yemen, sports-washing....you know all the stuff that gets dredged up for our proposed takeover.

Its their title to lose indefinitely anyway. PL will be crying out for competition once more people realise that. Alas they've just binned off the only people that could do it. Top work Masters and co

Yeah, but to qualify I haven't liked football for a long time now and had no choice but to give up on it because its not coming back. At least this way I can break it up with having a football club to support again and some enjoyment in so doing for the first time in a generation. Others don't seem to mind so why not.
-
Aye was Hoddle, press well and truly turned on him after it. Andersson and Shearer scoring in the same match novelty.
-
Making up for lost time after not being involved in 96% of the games in his football career. If the PL is the greatest league in the world, techincally Bruce has won world manager of the month and (post Leicester) at this moment is the best manager in the world.
-
Better now than when it matters, like 95/96: Man United Sunday, Sunday v Newcastle Monday, Tuesday, Sunday 96/97: Man United Saturday noon, Thursday, Sunday v Newcastle Saturday 3pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. Man U won the league and we came second on each occasion, sympathy well and truly suspended

That never happened. Not staying back for a lap of honour is not hounding someone out and that's all this myth boils down to for those that perpetuate it. There was a similiar turn out at the end of the 00/01 season - so we 'hounded' him for 4years by that definition. Apart from Smith and Roeder everyone that was hounded - Souness, McLaren, Bruce, Big Sam, Pardew - is fair enough surely. Also no different from any other club. Its what football fans do. Just have a look at any of their forums.

'Kuato Lives' goes without saying which character the three Steve's remind me of (*)(*)(*)
-
Same. We didn't really know him then and now we do. 'Better to be thought a c**t by fans but not manage their club, than to manage their club and remove all doubt" or however that phrase goes.
-
Well quite enjoying something he helped produce lasted all of 48hours before his c*ntly personality ruined it. Suppose we should be thankful that it wasn't the usual doubled whammy of god-forsaken performance followed by snide c*ntery. So still the only mole he's found these last few months is the one on Ashley's barse.

Are they away at St Pauli like?

Could be the apparent compulsion to constantly rain on other people's parades about it rather than being deflated by your own pessimism that's the difference between pessimism and a bit off. Its a bit like someone glorifying in saying "Told you we wouldn't win anything" repeatedly under Keegan and Sir Bobby to me. I don't think it will happen, based only on this being NUFC but I'm deflated about that not giddy. Having two threads is like checking a few different news channels and coming to your own conclusion about something. Being as I don't think it'll happen, this is the one for me. I like the hope to balance out what I instinctively already think

It isn't so much his utter loser mentality as its his utter blissful satisfaction to wollow in the lazy cop-out of being a loser that narks. Just getting paid millions in his self-professed dream job. Bare minimum manager at the bare minimum club.
-
That was the sting in the tail with Dalglish for me. I think most us were resigned to Tino and Ginola not being his cup of tea, though Les would have been a good bet to stay but I could live with the money at the time, giving Dalglish more credit than he deserved to reinvest and replace them. I forsaw Colin Hendy, Tim Flowers, Brian Laudrup and John Collins coming in, admittedly less attractive but maybe under Dalglish better fits and grew to accept it. Not Tomasson, Andersson, Ketsbaia, Hamilton, Pistone and co.
-
Massively wrong on every count. Suppose its in his interest to keep the charade going and prolong our cannon fodder status. In light of his poor landlordship has Steve Hoose been suggested? Maybe in the archives on account of his shape.
-
I'm the same. Tomasson was slow on the ground and slow in the mind and not capable of contributing anything outside the penalty area. Dalglish buying both Tomasson and Andersson could only really be beat by someone signing Joelinton twice for poor transfer marketedness.
-
Aye a 0-3 forfeit would be a drastic improvement than if we actually played the game. A true win-win.
