  1. The most vociferous of the Wenger out brigade speaks.
  2. Was the right decision, but how it was done was terrible.
  3. Other than the ones signing all the players presumably
  4. First question should be do you think the squad is stronger than the one that finished last season.
  5. Contract is up next summer i think? Can't see him signing another after the way he was spun a line last summer.
  6. Blackburn want Matty Longstaff.
  7. From RTG Dennis Cirkin is a 19 year old left back who is highly rated across European youth football, you will find allusions of his quality referencing a dominant performance against Barcelona's Ansu Fati or comments from Jose Mourinho about his potential (he put him on the Spurs bench 5 times). An England youth international, It was rumoured Mourinho had Spurs prepare a new long-term contract for the lad at the end of 2020, just before Cirkin's dad passed away, RIP. The contract went on the back burner and the lad took some time away from training, understandably to sort a few things out. When he returned he finished up the season in good form but with some question marks over how settled he was. A new contract was offered this summer, with the player entering his final season on the current deal, but the player turned it down for unknown reasons. Some suggestions are that he wants to play first team football and there are a number of left back options currently ahead of him, some suggestions are he wants a change of scenery from London in order to move forward with his life and career. It is worth mentioning that Danny Rose (massive lads fan) recently left Spurs to sign for Watford on a free transfer, but he did spend the bulk of last season training with the u23s in a sort of mentor role. I've no doubt the club would have been given a glowing reference by Danny should Dennis have asked him about us. Additionally, it does appear that Lee Johnson has cultivated a bit of a reputation for aiding the development of younger talent, I think when you combine all of these factors you end up with the club somehow punching way above its weight in terms of landing a big transfer like this.

Not a chance we should be giving him a three year deal if that's what the stumbling block is. Problem is you just know we don't have an alternative lined up.
  9. Think even I might give this one a miss.
  10. Yeah you'd think they'd at least have looked to get him out on loan for a year at that age if he had anything about him. Might still be a decent third tier full back i suppose, but the excitement over it is very strange.
  11. They seem to be getting very excited about the fact they've signed a spurs kid who doesn't even seem to have a Wikipedia page.

There is no plan B, it's been obvious every time Bruce has spoken.
  13. This is good news for the takeover.

Wonder what money he's on at arsenal?
  15. I thought he said we just needed to let it play out?
  16. Also it's an interesting take having a pop at people for not signing up to the Trust to vote in their elections when if you look at those numbers the majority of their CURRENT members couldn't be bothered to vote anyway.
  17. Not sure why anyone would wish to sign up to any organisation who they don't believe represents them. That would be stupid. The Trust have set out that their main long term aim now is owning what will only ever be a tiny proportion of the club. Don't see how anyone who can see that it is a wasted exercise would sign up now. The Trust don't now have a real purpose for the vast majority of supporters, including many on here who signed up to the pledge but have since cancelled their donations.
  18. Kind of proving my second sentence correct there obviously.
  19. It's more a thread for people who are consistently misinformed and more often than not subsequently proven wrong. Deep down they know that's the case too i think, but they would prefer that no one ever points it out. Which is fine obviously.
  20. "We need to let it play out" 50 tweets a day, two podcasts a week.
  21. I think Caulkin probably knows he got played a bit during the first episode. This time around if there's something genuinely positive he'll write about it, but the fact is, despite what the twitter celebrities want you to think, there's been absolutely no positives for weeks on end.
  22. She was in an hour before. She's had her chips.
  23. Obviously really. Must be under a NDA. Which can only be good news.
