I think Foden single-handedly ruined our attacks by keep going narrow with Bellingham having to cover left, Kane being isolated and coming deep, with no one in behind. No idea whether he was told to or kept doing it himself but either way it was shite.

He's always played fast, direct, effective goalscorers on the wings. Saka, Sterling, Rashford. Foden's nothing like that, the nearest we have to that on that side by a mile is Gordon.

I just can't get over him spending years not playing Foden, then Foden coming in now and again but never playing well. Then all of a sudden he's playing, completely ineffective, and seemingly undroppable.
