  1. Anthony Taylor playing an obscene amount of extra time here, that should never have even happened.
  2. My best mate is a designer and a lot of them can be like that about anything that's different. Anything that's been done, even if it's lush = bad. Anything that's different, even if it's minging = good. He loved that France top as well, which tbf is also lush.
  3. Aye, there's a good few pages in our kit thread where it's discussed, with a few kits designed by me and a few others on the pages after it.
  4. Craig Buglass has done a recent review of the Euros kits and more or less said the Adidas kits are shite. No idea why he was saying ours was amazing
  5. If I can't get on board with Chiesa (despite loving him) because of his injury record, I sure as shit can't get on board with Neto.
  6. Thought the same but I think it's fair to class all the RB clubs as internal job changes and Cercle Brugge are a Monaco feeder club, so he's basically had two employers (RB and Monaco) since he left Spurs 6 and a half years ago.
  7. I'm all for tribalism but that's pathetic like. lush top as well. Like coca cola chewits.
  8. He was at Monaco for 3 years and left 8 months ago. Slightly different circumstances to Ashworth where in the space of 2 years he's been on gardening leave twice and at 3 clubs. In isolation I would prefer it if Mitchell had been at fewer clubs, though it's fair to class the RB clubs as one job imo. The Cercle Brugge one is a head scratcher. EDIT: Cercle Brugge are a feeder club for Monaco. No, definitely not worried about the jobs now, he's essentially had 2 employers since leaving Spurs 6 and a half years ago.
  9. Spain 1 v 1 Germany Portugal 0 v 1 France England 1 v 1 Switzerland Netherlands 2 v 1 Turkey
  10. Whatever Ashworth's strengths were, they certainly weren't hugely noticeable when he was here beyond his role as a facilitator for others. The hub and spoke role he reiterated constantly. If he was here I'd be more than happy with that, but him wanting to leave immediately made me happy that he was. I said so at the time and still think so now, but having that many jobs in such a short space of time at his level of responsibility is a massive red flag imo.
  11. I think regardless of direct involvement, even if it's indirect involvement through oversight or proximity or luck, if there's a good record of player recruitment wherever you've been it can only be a good sign imo.
  12. Need to be a bit cautious until we see the results, but I'm absolutely chuffed with this like, fantastic appointment
  13. Also worth mentioning the "for him!?" factor. The amount of players we've done that about only for it to turn out to be a bargain and for us to look like mugs is pretty long now like.
  14. It's a good fee, but the idea It's outside of the norm is totally flawed like. Anderson was our best player pre-season and pre-injury last year. He tore it up on loan, had a good 22/23 season with us, had a brilliant cameo vs PSG last season, generally performed well in the Premier League for us last season, is supposed to be great in training, his stats show he clearly has talent and further potential and he's 21. His main problem has been injuries and knowing his position. The potential is obvious to the extent that despite our aims and despite the very good fee, a lot of people are still sad that he's gone.
  15. Aye, they've been the best for years now tbh, ever since that Man City sash shirt from 08-ish.
  16. Longstaff's output last season despite not being great definitely makes me understand how McTominay would be useful a lot more.
  17. They really love spending loads of money on players just over the cusp of the hill don't they.
  18. Remind me of this when it's you doing the criticising and not one of us.
