  1. That 3 game run at the end of December aside, that's a very favourable set of fixtures throughout. Night and day compared to last season.
  2. Probably a lot easier to do when the letters are added backwards and presumably have a massive target to meet.
  3. She's absolutely shit but it's annoying how her shitness is automatically tied to her race and sex. I saw a clip today of two people thinking they were being completely fair by describing exactly why she's terrible, but then they followed it up with how she "isn't doing the women's game any favours" They're probably right in reality, but if you think about how odd it would sound if you said "Michael Owen isn't doing the men's game any favours" or how racist it would sound to say "Garth Crooks isn't doing black pundits any favours" it's obvious what even people like that who think they're being fair are unwittingly buying into.
  4. Just searched for him and have just been reminded of when Drury said "I dare you, Tottenham, I dare you"
  5. No. Search for him on here and you'll find plenty of posts about why he's shit. in my case there'll be posts going back to around 2008. I cannot stand the bloke
  6. For me Matterface is much easier to ignore (and nowhere near as bad imo) than Drury, he just fades into the background because everything's at the same volume.
  7. We've got fucking precogs disallowing goals for pre-crimes now ffs
  8. Combination of high transfer fees, being ex-Chelsea and Man United, not actually being very good, and being a primadonna.
  9. The reason I make that comparison is because beyond them both having wands for right feet, I definitely remember pundits always going on about how Beckham would move from RM to CM when he got older, but that he didn't have the know how to do it yet. Then he never had the know how and everyone just kind of quietly accepted that he's an RM. Whereas with Trent, that position is gone and he's not a great RB or CM in a 433. He actually reminds me of a RM playing at RB or CM. He'd have been incredible in the 90s at RM in a 442
  10. For me it's Trent you drop. Sitting two of Rice and Bellingham, Foden in the 10, Gordon on the left. If it doesn't work, drop Foden for Gordon, play Rice and Gallagher as the two and Bellingham in the 10.
  11. Is it fair to say that trying to make Trent work right now is similar to what it would have been like trying to make a young Beckham work if the dominant formation in the 90s was 433 based?
  12. Guehi sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders.
  13. He didn't but I think a lot of that was due to Foden being poor at LW. I'm obviously biased but I think Gordon would have been better for Trippier
  14. I thought in the context of his experience he was really good. Just thought he had a couple of sloppy moments on the ball 2nd half that Stones didn't. Nowhere near MOTM. Thought Trippier was the pick of the bunch in the back 4 and Bellingham probably MOTM.
  15. Rewind a few years and the clamour was for Foden to be in the team and the criticism was that Southgate wouldn't drop Rashford or Sterling. See also, Jack Grealish.
  16. Why shouldn't I do this, I'll do what I want. Pickford: 7 Walker: 7 Stones: 7 Guiehi: 7 Trippier: 7.5 Rice: 7 TAA: 5.5 Bellingham: 7.5 Saka: 7 Kane: 6 Foden: 5
  17. England has that feel about it again that I don't like. The fanbase thinks we're mint rather than underdogs and we're playing with too much arrogance and zero pluckiness
