That bottom right one is incredible

Exactly what I was going to post. Like us signing Duff after NZogbia's breakout season, but on steroids. In a way Chelsea are even more hateable because despite their pull, they don't know what they're doing. What my dad would call 'All the gear, no idea'

He's this year's Paqueta/Maddison, except that this time we have a much better understanding of the types of player Howe loves. I think he's great and would be perfect for us, but it feels a bit too on the nose and Howe/the recruitment team has humbled me enough now with player selections that I'm questioning everything about my own judgement on players.

James Trafford: NUFC in talks with Burnley over £30m transfer (Various)

Judging by his highlights from last season he definitely isn't. I know we need a RW, but despite the adversity of last season we'd have succeeded even more than we did and got by in other positions if we'd had a better number 2 to Pope. I'm very pleased that Howe/the recruitment team have identified this as our main priority. -
A goal more than David Ginola scored in his Newcastle career. It'll always stick in my mind for that reason. He had a poor season but his output was very good. Murphy similar although he also performed well.

Why do these people always talk in exactly the same way? oooh, oooh you just can't handle the unique objective truth I'm laying on you. So fucking boring man, in my 20 odd years on here there's at least 5 of them per year. -
Longstaff strikes me as someone whose potential can only be fulfilled here and under a coach like Howe. I'm very much a fan of his despite his limitations, but £15m of pure profit is a no-brainer imo

The only reasons I can think of to sell now are that we have our backs to wall with PSR and/or we (or Eddie) don't rate him highly enough to play at all. Those things notwithstanding, if we (or Eddie) fancy someone else, it's in our interests to give him a season and increase his value to sell him and fund who we actually want. -

A wise man once said the fireworks burn up your eyes to the sky, fire to the works. Canny impressive though.

I get the feeling we haven't heard about who our RW target is yet. -

Isn't it a bit different with 'keepers in that that's kind of what you want because they're being tested much more regularly? -

It makes logical sense in that if you go big on a 'keeper it means Pope also has to be replaced because he's far too good to be a number 2. Doing it this way means that we spend less, Pope stays, there's less disruption, we have better backup, and Trafford can potentially replace Pope in the way it's becoming apparent that Tino will replace Trippier. -

If we get the Trafford I saw in the U21s last year then brilliant, he looked class. Can't say I paid much attention to him last season or whether Burnley being shite had much to do with him or not though. -
I have to say I quite like the front now, but the back remains completely shit. It looks like we're Fulham.

Not getting any of them back. #profound

That guy looks and sounds exactly like Barry Shitpeas

I hate the start, that cursive voice loads of female vocalists do makes my skin crawl. Once it kicks in it works nicely with the advert though.

Is the top available in every JD btw? Tempted to get over to Silverlink or something later.

It wouldn't like, there's no date on this Newcastle adidas originals shirt that'll be released in 2024. Agree to disagree, but we'll have our fun.

The equivalence is just that its lack of authenticity irks you when it's just fashion. Let it go Acuna, join us.

Are you one of those people who go up to kids in Nirvana t-shirts and ask them to name a song?

They're not 'fake' retro though, retro is just a style and a style that loads of people love.

That says away kits. Man United and Arsenal both have long sleeved home kits
