  1. It's the cup final goal for me. That second goal was probably my best single moment supporting Newcastle and he's completely taken the shine off it, the utter prick.

Not impressed with how he's going on though tbh. Wouldn't be at all bothered if Brentford told him he wasn't moving.

Wissa scored half of Shola's entire 13 year Premier League haul in one season.
  4. As disgusting as Barton is, that's an absolutely pathetic decision like.

Just posting what I've read mate.
  6. Via agents and intermediaries rather than directly. It happens with every player tbh, the whole Ashley Cole tapping up thing was presented as something really unusual I think partly because it was Mourinho literally talking to Cole directly about a move, partly to create a story.
  7. "if they have to let Isak go" It's not even an if, it's a fact that we don't need to.
  8. I don't remember that one. Do remember Freddy Shepherd dismissing our campaign to try and get the club to get Ottmar Hitzfeld as a betting scam though
  9. They adjust to betting. If loads of people bet that he'll leave, the odds come down.

    Returned to training.
  11. Hard not to feel conspiratorial right now like.
  12. These DoF and CEO announcements need to basically happen now with some serious fire fighting needed.
  13. Have you ever been near the training ground during the summer holidays? Would be absolute bedlam. Far too many places to take photos and be heard as well.
  14. I don't think it's realistic to expect him to train in Benton in the circumstances tbf like. He's an absolute cunt for what he's done but having him at Benton creates a circus that we won't want just as much as he won't.
  15. They'll 100% bid for him like. No way he'll have done all this without being given assurances of that. All I care about is how we react.
  16. It's literally the same slightly reworded tweet that he's been posting every day for a week. Lunacy.
  17. In our current state I'd be pleasantly surprised by that.
  18. Yeah, watching Bluey is definitely not something I need more of with my 3 year old around. Might have to hoy Miss Rachel on to talk me through this transfer window though.
  19. Klopp did the same a lot I believe? Sometimes winning and sometimes not.
  20. Don't even think that's a bad price at all for Van Hecke.
  21. It does, but it is still a move and not that uncommon. Would love nothing more than for the club to serve out some humble pie.
  22. I wonder if there's any previous situations like this with YAR that will give us an indication of what he'll do here. I'm not even convinced that he'll have any involvement or cares tbh, but everything posters on here have posted about him suggests he's the exact opposite of a pushover.
  23. You have to remember that being a prick and burning his bridges is exactly the point like. It's a move rather than something personal. He's attempting to make himself so toxic that the idea of him coming back seems impossible. Players have done this countless times and come back, you have to brush it off otherwise you play into their hands, signal that it works, and end up an absolute pushover of a club.
  24. You can tell a lot of the local journalists - Geordie Journos, Keith Downie etc are still thinking of Newcastle as the club it was under Ashley. The concept of not capitulating and instead acting like the 'big'/strong club we thought we were now attempting to be is like an unknown unknown to them. It doesn't even enter their thought process when they're talking about how it's not good to have an upset player hanging around therefore we need to find a replacement and sell him. It's insane
