Trivela's are often canny overrated like, they're not that hard and make straightforward passes look amazing. Lukuku's cross against England was the same. Still good balls but the trivela adds like 100% hype on top. I always try and ask if it would still be amazing if it was played with the other foot, which is why Willock's is still amazing.

Because it's chicken and egg. You become self-sustainable by being successful and you become successful with investment. Chelsea and Man City grew through owner investment, becoming successful and then growing commercial revenue, their academy, player recruitment and sales. If there's FFP reform there's the opportunity to achieve the success needed to become self-sustaining.

It is if there's FFP reform. It is even if we boost our commercial revenue, both of which aren't dependent upon moving from SJP.

Probably an extra 50 million-ish a season best case scenario while the top 6 are at least 130 million a season ahead through commercial revenue. And in the meantime there's the possibility of FFP reform.

There's somewhere in between where we currently are and us spending 100x the amount of the next club below us that I'd like us to occupy tbh. I would genuinely hate it if we bought the league and would much rather the likes of us, Villa, Leicester, West Ham etc were just able to genuinely compete without on one hand risking the existence of the club and on the other hand completely taking the piss and it meaning nothing.

Depends on what you want I reckon. If you want us to 'go Man City 2008' and this goes ahead then it's worth getting excited, if you don't want that to happen for whatever reason then it's bad news if it goes ahead.
