Would love to but easier said than done. Think like a lot of people I have an obsessive/addictive personality and it'll basically need to come to a head for me to have a break. Done it before and it'll happen again, almost certainly if we sell Isak to fucking Liverpool.
-
I actually thought that when we were linked with Pedro that Van Hecke was going to be the actual target.
-
Would love to, just habitually pick up the phone and do it regardless. Very difficult
-
Really need to find a way to disengage from all this like, it's just absolutely fucking miserable. Wouldn't mind if I had other stuff to do but most of my time at the moment means I'm basically strapped to a seat indoors, looking after a baby and with nowt much else to do but be on here.

Sebastian Vidal is not a real person.

Stuff like this is the absolute pits. Either say why you know or don't bother, nee one's interested in any 'can't say how I know' nonsense from random posters.
-
He definitely does, although one of the main ones has moved to Leeds recently

I'm saying I can separate the football from the transfer strategy basically.
-
Worse is an assumption like, if you're of the opinion that the window cam be saved with good signings that means you think there are still good and available players out there.
-
You're talking about two different things. We didn't succeed last season because of last summer's transfer window did we? We succeeded in spite of it. You can separate the two in your mind. Good signings could save it theoretically. I'm saying at the moment it's in danger of being a Bowyer/Anita window on steroids.

It doesn't always go to plan, but I wouldn't expect it to always not go to plan. Have to say I disagree though, there are plenty of 'kicking on' transfer windows in our history that have laid the groundwork for failure. We really don't want this to be one of them, which at the moment it's looking like.
-
Hard not to judge a window now when the brief was: act fast, get our main targets It doesn't need to be 1st September to know that we've already failed the brief and whatever we do now is late and contingency, regardless of whether it all works out in the end.

Tbf I never got the impression anyone on here believed it.

The counter argument is a description of the water we're drowning in.

Even if I agreed with this 'can't win with the cartel clubs sniffing about' point, for the club to not learn that lesson and carry on with the same strategy still means that the blame lies at their door. Adapt or die, dying over and over again and then complaining about it isn't a strategy, sorry.
-
Completely invented rhetoric that would never apply in any other circumstances outside of these client journalists working for a club. Brazen.
-
I was told we'd had meetings with Muniz's people ages ago like. It's partly why I was surprised there hadn't been any links.
-
Pessimism protected me on this one. Not over until it's over, but it's looking increasingly like the club can't sell Isak even if they wanted to.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

They're in the middle of their season. Don't think the humidity can be understated as well, it's like trying to play football in a room with 100 tumble dryers on - something they're completely used to. -

You can tell they're playing in humidity like. Absolutely horrible conditions for football. -
Ekitike was like. I'm thinking more style than level, I wouldn't expect a like-for-like Isak replacement, more just saying what type of striker I prefer really. We'll see, hoping that the club finds its backbone in all this.
