A seemingly bad personality unfortunately. For me going into 22/23 he was ahead of Murphy in the pecking order.

A disgrace Willock, Tonali, Joelinton, Anderson all regular or long term absentees through no fault of our own. We're not playing a 17 year old rookie at the very highest level for a laugh, more than half of our starting or rotation midfield isn't available, that's not something you can or even should mitigate for.

He's improved loads since he first came in, back to the Dubravka we know more or less.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
Kid Icarus replied to Rich's topic in Football
I don't even know because Joelinton being out for 6 weeks makes me feel like we're never going to have anything close to the rotation and quality we need to go on a run and it's just going to go down as one of those seasons through no real fault of anyone. If we get players back I think we can definitely target 6th, if we don't we could be mid-table, and in both scenarios I'll be thinking about what could have been because when we've had anything resembling a fit team with even a little bit of depth we've looked fucking class. -
One Arsenal fan revelling in Newcastle losing to one of their title rivals, another calling us bottlers. They're proper weird cunts like.
-
Nee offence Roderick, but from my perspective you disagreeing with me is a bit of an endorsement.
-
I'd say it if I believed it, but I don't. It's not complicated Rodney.
-
You're wrong now
-
Getting a bit sick of him getting the ball, not fully under control, and crumpling like a deck of cards when the opposition midfielders tackle him. I wouldn't mind, Bruno does it and he can sell it but Longstaff too often does it needlessly, gets nothing off the ref, and puts us under pressure. Hopefully he can cut it out or sell it better.
-
As far as I'm concerned you've already been proven wrong countless times, so there's no worry there. You're one of those 'my opinion is fact' people so I'll not waste any more of our time.

Thought he was one of our better performers tonight. No problem with the 3rd goal from his perspective, the ball from KDB is world class. Until then Trippier had both Doku and Bobb completely under control.

Some of our fans deserve Ashley like. Almost impressively stupid
-
Ah yes, that straightforward plan of going 1 up, then conceding, going behind, then bringing on your star player to win it for you in the last minute. These posts will be brought up in the future and you'll look like a complete know nowt.

Even the less insane of us haven't got a clue like, the entire football section should be a sea of humility but no one ever learns.
-
To fixate on Trippier and Dubravka for their goal really is self involved like. That ball from KDB is ridiculous, an inch either way and it's headed away or out of reach.
-
Horrible. No complaints about the result, it always felt like it was coming, but to have a result slip through our fingers yet again like that at the death this season is so guttening. Despite the dominance we still had extra chances of our own but didn't take them. I'm not sure what else we could have done with what we have tbh, the midfield was a write off so when we had the ball it had to be bypassed. KDB basically came on and won it, that ball for Bobb is out of this world, ridiculous precision. Man City in the business end of the season are ruthless and never beaten, we needed one of those extra chances to be put away basically, which considering our actual goals were from half chances is maybe asking a lot. Gutted, really gutted, but hopefully the break will do us good and we can make something of this season after Villa away. Dubravka: 8 Trippier: 8 Schär: 8 Botman: 8 Burn: 7 Miley: 6 Longstaff: 5 Bruno: 6.5 Almiron: 7 Isak: 7 Gordon: 7

Great half of football. Man City playing mind numbingly boring stuff with flashes of brilliance, us going fast and direct. If only Isak had scored that second one on one... We could be 4-1 up and they'd still have the quality and stamina to turn it around. For me, whatever happens from now our game plan is still spot on (bypass midfield) and we've played some quality stuff.

Another pen for Chelsea I see. Palmer's decent but he's so stat padded with pens
-
I'd be gutted, but we could be anyone except Barca or RM and with no FFP restrictions and he'd still go. It's not worth worrying about imo, just enjoy it.

Ashworth (imo) very deliberately mentioned club-specific release clauses when Bruno was brought up recently.

Solanke would be a really good option, but I can't see that happening.

Reads exactly like an Ashley-era N-O post. Which is weird because by his and RTG's own logic they should over the moon with their situation
