Ake plays for Man City quite a lot more than you would think and will likely play more with the 5 subs rule coming in. He played 27 times last season and the majority were full matches.

I'm not a massive fan, but I think he's very underrated. Wingers scoring 8 goals a season twice in a row for a relegation battling team normally have more hype around them.

Man City and Chelsea did like. They bought loads of players who were never going to get them to the top, that's where we are now while we build up to that. Not saying we shouldn't get the best available, but you have to keep levelling up to get the very top players.

Tbf, it made sense to all of the teams that had to work their way into that top 6. Man City, Spurs, and Chelsea all bought players that would end up not being good enough for them.

Putting my money on the table now and saying that Harrison is better than a mid-table player. Not top 6, but not mid-table.

Just to follow on from this, I know stats don't tell you everything, but the lad on the other side of the pitch who everyone would have been over the moon about signing, got 17 goals and 12 assists in the same two seasons (albeit in 10 fewer games overall)

18 goals and 10 assists in 76 games, from the wing, in the league we're in, is exactly what we're looking for.

Traore's value has increased massively in a 5 subs allowed set up imo. He's never the type of player you start imo, but if you're under the cosh and need an out ball he immediately makes the opposition think twice about how much they attack you. He'd essentially do what Murphy already does for us, just probably better and with the same final ball and finishing
