This is exactly the issue with British punditry. Its jobs for the boys around the networks and they're all mates with Bruce, Big Sam etc. Its pathetic. You'll never hear them getting tore into the likes of Bruce like they do foreign managers and they're riddled with contradictions like the one you just mentioned. Which foreign managers get torn into? -

Surely this bloke has. Or will. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46839490

Tbf though, since he signed for them they've only lost twice and beaten Juventus and Lazio. Not saying they would've won but I do imagine his presence in the dressing room is huge. Lost to Inter as well did they not after being 2-0 up?

I see Adam Armstrong bettered Che Adams' goal last night.

Alan Smith saying sometimes the player should be given the benefit?!

If Nigeria had a half decent football association that could convince these guys to play for the national team we would have some real promise. Abraham, Ihenacho, Saka and Iwobi would be a nice young front line. Oh well ... Osimhen and Chukwueze are better than all of those except probably Saka. We don't need to beg the English boys. Iwobi is not "shit" because history says he is a good footballer, but he has been rubbish for a good while and is miscast as a wide player at this point. He's shit.

The Finnish Muto.

Aye wonder what's gone on there. Bruce hasn't managed Chopra has he? Did they cross paths at Sunderland? Either way, what a little cocktease Chops is. Oh aye.

Who in the holy hell is Jean-Philippe Gbamin?
-
Petty much that like.
-
Aye, they were there for the taking. Although a lot of the player looked gassed I reckon - ASM especially. Could/should have brought Lazaro on earlier. And even Ritchie.

Muto has not played anywhere near enough for you to make that assessment. You're on a right daft cunt spree across threads today aren't you? OK then, Seydou Doumbia and Chucky could have offered us so much more than whoever was playing against them at the time. If you're not good enough you don't play football, what can't you grasp about that? Dwight Gayle, 2 goals, 2 assists in 532mins Yoshi Muto, 1 goals, 0 assists in 344 mins (EFL Cup) Your logic is so simple minded Our strikers have all struggled massively this season and yet at no stage was Muto given a fair shot. It makes no sense. Not to mention the fact that he can also play anywhere across the front line. Yet the likes of Atsu have also featured regularly ahead of him looking awful. I don't trust Bruce's judgement and I certainly don't trust yours either. It makes sense 'IF' hes been absolutely dogshit in training and/or uninterested Until we have evidence of this then it cannot be used as a stick to beat the guy. The greater likelihood is that the manager is being daft, as he has given us plenty evidence of how clueless he is time and time again. So just to confirm, you accept there is a possibility he could be crap in training and/or have little interest but you're not going to entertain that as a reason why he's not getting game time?
