AFC Bournemouth 1-4 Newcastle United - 01/07/2020 - post match from p18

Happy tonight. Was a fun game. Love ASM so much man. Vital we keep him. He is mint and likes the toon. Give him a raise and better players with his takeover. Exciting Just been sick with excitement at the thought of ASM being coached by someone like Pochettino. -

Total and utter domination from start to finish. Academy graduates scoring, one of the most exciting wingers in the league bagging a hat trick of assists, Shelvey looking the bollocks since the restart, our subs coming on and scoring and unbeaten in 5. Shame about the clean sheet. 3 points off Spurs. New owners on the horizon, Bruce signing off on a high. Everybody's a winner. Shame the sun isn't out. -

How? -
Itll be at the end of the season. And if not, it'll be as soon as he goes through a bad patch next season after we've spent a fortune.

Some canny one touch stuff being played in the middle of the park. Bentaleb & Shelvey busy with the latter spraying a few canny long balls. Plenty of closing down & hard graft. Look forward to us shooting ourselves in the foot second half and letting them back into it. -

Longstaff pretending to be a footballer Shit craic. He’s young and he went from Rafa to Bruce. So has about 90% of the squad. -

Love it. -
No rumours, but the absolute simple logic of their financial situation, now and ongoing, is that administration is almost inevitable. If they did it now the 12 points would come off next year right? Think so given their season is finished.
-
Them rumours have been doing the rounds for the last year. Hope you're right like.

Reputations can sometimes be based on assumptions though. How much do we really know about his coaching methods? Kind of the point isn't it? If he had any decently effective methods, then surely players/pundits/colleagues would be highlighting lauding them? Rafa had a reputation for attention to detail and drilling methods into players Klopp likes high energy pressing... Guardiola likes his players to make a pass or two... Wilder goes for rigid team discipline with hard workers Wenger wanted players to pass the ball until two yards from goal Fergie just scared the hell out of everyone so his team won All i see from Bruce is let the other team have the ball, hope they make a mistake and let ASM/Almiron/Joelinton run 40/50 yards with the ball to see if they can beat the keeper. Most decent managers have at least one decent and memorable team through their career. I can't really think of any for Bruce. Birmingham with Dugarry maybe? Possibly that Wigan team that fluked their way to the final then got hammered by the first good team they played? Robson liked pace and directness Paul Jewell was manager of Wigan in that final.
-
Surprised it didnt break his leg.
-
Aye, he was quick to fuck Sheff Wed off after they bent over backwards for him at the start of his appointment. He screwed them over in favour of working with Ashley. When Ashley sells up Bruce will be first out the door. What goes around comes around.
