A couple of sea lions similarly transformed with Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce's upper torsos could have worked the last couple of years As I say, I do like our badge as it is but I maintain that the seahorses, whether interpreted as a noble chimera or otherwise (I'm sure the leaf at the end of the tail must be significant also) do not add to it (there don't appear to be leaves there - definitely saw a version this morning with a maple leaf style tail, probably some Canadian supporter chapter) There's a dedicated thread for it so I'll stop posting about it in the SJP thread now though

They're on the civic centre as well of course so aye, there must be something there. Seems an unusual choice but they're better looking than just fish I suppose

I prefer the detail and fake heraldic feel of the current one to the other two that I can remember, like. The circular one with the curvy lettering and the C along the bottom is fucking awful IMO prefer the one with the magpie in front of the castle and the plain lettering, but the current one is miles in advance of either I reckon. I wouldn't necessarily object to a change but I wouldn't go backwards. Nee idea what the seahorses are about mind

And to be fair to Jones, Carver actually claimed to be a manager (and claimed at least once to be the best in the Premier, as I recall).
