Sell what though, flower show, pensioners, can’t be fucking players surely they’ve only got about 60 ?
-
Nah they can fuck off have no good will towards anything in those parts.
-
Not all the time but think with Ashworth/Mitchell gone i can imagine Howe is having to get more involved than normal.
-
According to Downie’s video today it’s not ideal and he’s having to work at the coal face as such to get these deals done.
-
Good player would be happy if we ended up with him.

At this point PSR is no longer fit for purpose and it needs ripped up. Some sort of luxury tax rule like in MLB needs introduced it’s farcical at this point.

On the day Hollywood blockbusters bit the dust on drearyside. Here’s a nice local production, with a local hero to ease the pain lads.
-
Class that.

Yes in some regards it lays entirely at his door in terms of who we sign this summer without a DOF, but who the fuck is negotiating these deals ? Mitchells gone and Eales is due to go as well, is Nickson a skilled negotiator with other clubs and agents, I’m absolutely astounded we’ve ended up in this situation bang in the summer window.
-
They’re currently having a meltdown over private funding of Hollywood on the wear being pulled. They were sniggling away about the new arena running into difficulties and saying it should be built in chicken town instead. Reality check lads you’re a backwater and always will be.

What about Mikautadze at Lyon not sure what happened when he went to Ajax? but been banging them in since returning to France. Looks the type of player who can play across the front line and Lyon might be ripe for the taking at the minute.
-
What about the young Spanish striker at Porto, would cost big money and could play Isak in the 10 role if Howe really is considering a change in formation. Sounds crazy to think about playing Isak elsewhere, but sometimes we do struggle to get him involved and i think he’s much better when not receiving ball with his back to goal.

James "Shagger" Trafford: Transfer from Burnley "pretty much done" (Edwards)

As much as Pope had some stormers including the Cup Final I’m much happier now we’ve got some real competition. All these top teams have a keeper who can pass the ball out and sweep up at the back, think this might let us play slightly higher at times, alongside a centre back with pace could really give us a new dimension. -

Sums sound astronomical 60 million plus and 7 year contract, not sure he was ever worth the money being mentioned. -
We need a combative CEO don’t think PIF are devoting much time, or thought to this if I’m honest beyond just complying with current rules. Feel this CEO appointment is crucial for future direction.
-
If it means where not giving them 30 million for Jacob Ramsey they can crack on for me.

Still think it’s a shame he hasn’t stayed on reading that, sounds like he’s supportive but challenging, which every boss should be, clearly rattled some close to Howe, but so what they’re all meant to be professionals, take it on the chin instead of leaking shit to the press. Shame he didn’t wait and see who the new CEO was going to be, feels a little bit like he’s used Eales departure as an excuse and history says he doesn’t remain in one place very long. Whole situation very disappointing for me.

Apart from Scalvini link it’s been heavily PL based links, unless you know otherwise this summer ? Last summer we chased a PL based CB all summer without any apparent plan b and the new sporting director thinking our scouting wasn’t fit for purpose ?
-
Where about to find out how flexible Eddie is prepared to be in the transfer market, if he handcuffs the club to targets with PL experience then we’ll be looking at 3 signings tops as we just don’t have the budget.

João Pedro - Chelsea Agree Deal With Brighton (Ornstein)

He’s definitely a Howe player but think in the Champions league you need a bit more craft, we’ve got raw pace in Gordon on one side, we looked technically way short last time in Europe and Elanga doesn’t solve that for me. -

Think Trafford is the one signing I see with a really high ceiling, think he could transform our play from the back and looks to have huge potential. I agree about Elanga very hard at the fee being quoted to think that it’s a good deal, he’s a speed merchant and one trick pony. -
Was Pedro even going to play week in and week out ? Just can’t see without a change in formation where he would have played, 50 million for a back up striker would have been a luxury. Go get Trincao, or the lad from Monaco and fill a position we need on the right and give us some creativity in the final third.
-
Aye more likely some Saudi club offers them 100 million for Rigg at the minute.

Aye he’s clearly talented but part of me thinks we’ve dodged a bullet.
