The best limbs ever seen at SJP and I’d argue anywhere in this country, only Kelly v Portsmouth comes close.
-
Isak had been linked for ages but the press briefings were we couldn’t afford him.
-
North Shields bedrock of NUFC support and the fucking hardest just ask the casualties.
-
Instant classic that shirt.
-
Ryder’s best ignored clearly struggling for his quota of articles.
-
I don’t worry about stuff like this just curious about how they’ll attempt to twist it going forward.
-
I’m assuming once you’ve sold the women’s team you can no longer offset any costs for PSR purposes, or will Chelsea also have a way around that ? Just seems farcical at this point fair play to them.
-
If it was a choice between Mbeumo and Semenyo it would be the former, I’d also go for the lad from Monaco though, or someone they’ve been scouting off the radar. Think there’s a few candidates in Spain, France and Italy tenuously linked who could come in to play for the RW spot, if we need a striker also value for money will be important. Suspect the big money will go on a proven right sided CB.
-
I don’t think he’s what we need especially at the money being quoted, good player undoubtedly but definitely suited to a team who plays on the break.
-
I think Ekitike is a bit more versatile but wouldn’t be opposed to Delap for something different, particularly in games where we need a bit of muscle. On a side note would love to see us go for Rodrigo Mora from Porto as the creative signing, can play out wide and looks a huge talent at 17.
-
Not that it should be a primary concern to us as fans but isn’t there a minimum UEFA requirement for a 70k capacity to hold a CL final etc. I’d imagine PIF would be quite keen for their shiny new stadium to be able to host the biggest fixtures to showcase it.
-
Really nice that about time we mixed the home strip up.
-
Would love to see a young attacking midfielder brought into the mix that offers something different, think we’ve got Bruno, Miley and Tonali who can all play as the anchor man, crying out for a difference maker to add some creativity in certain games. If we qualify for CL and Longstaff, Wilson etc leave, think we need 5 players including a keeper, CB, CM, RW and CF.
-
I think we might see Mitchell pull a younger player from France, or Spain for the RW spot, when it comes to CB could definitely see either of the Bournemouth lads ending up here.
-
If we get CL football we need 2 top drawer strikers to rotate, or the season will end up a write off like last season.
-
Makes you wonder how our average attendance bar the odd exception due to ground redevelopment etc is higher nearly every year than theirs, even when we’ve been in a lower division. Couple this with all mags are plastic and wouldn’t know where SJP is, whilst all mackems actually go to the game and it’s one of life’s great mysteries.
-
Needs a better song that has no mention of the fucking mackems in it, absolute superstar their name shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath.

Aye few from work didn’t seem to grasp you could just register for free on site. Think they should find a way of just opening it up to the public without needing a ticket. -

Get Knopfler playing local hero and Jimmy singing Big River and might dig my wellies out yet. -
Sure I’ve seen Fenway lauding it on the pitch after Liverpool won a trophy. Hopefully we see Yasir on the pitch a few more times over the next few years.

What a load of tosh just because they might not get on a bus, I certainly don’t remember the Keegan promotion from standing outside the civic centre, my memories are Grimsby, Barnsley, Notts County, Tranmere and Peterborough away with thousands of proper football lads watching a great team. -

Keith never got off board like many of us he bleeds Black and White, but like many didn’t want to help prolong Ashley’s stay by funding Sports Direct, probably a lot to do with being banned by the club and being completely fucking disillusioned by the whole episode as well.
