  1. Don’t see the problem they’ll be offered a comparable seat by the club, at the end of the day you have a season ticket you don’t own the fucking seat.
  2. Who’s the loan manager again ?………….Argh aye that explains it.
  3. 160 million for the lot - 30 million for St Max, probably ambitious but if we made CL who the fuck knows what PIF will do.
  4. Versatile powerful forward on a free would be a shrewd signing especially with extra European games hopefully. Add Diaby, Kone and Maddison we’ll be sorted in the summer.
  5. Absolute disgrace NP crowing that they’ve banned these 4 lads, stand up for your own supporters getting attacked and get banned. Absolute stitch up to help with their stats, how about sorting out some real criminals.
  6. Think they’ve been hard done by here Chelsea came looking for it, as usual NP dishing out bans to our lot while Chelsea get away with fuck all.
  7. Far from a cherry pick but even if it was can you genuinely say we make that much noise in our big games consistently like they do ? We undoubtedly have moments where the whole ground gets going and it’s loud, but we don’t have consistent vocal support on that level. A big game for us this season would be Southampton in league cup, there were large periods of eerie silence throughout. A singing section helps but does that explain the whole upper tier and lower tier of Stretford End standing, that’s majority of games and not just big ones either. We’d never have that at St Jame’s currently due to the clientele. Now Old Trafford did have a large period where there atmosphere was shite, the point is whether through ground expansion or what they seem to have done something about it.
  8. Here’s an 8 minute sample of the Stretford End all standing and singing. I fucking despise the cunts but i don’t see how anyone can say our current atmosphere compares. I’ve seen every argument under the sun on here such as large stadiums aren’t conducive, times have changed etc. But that’s all it is excuses, for this video I could have pulled out one from Leeds, Forrest etc which again would piss all over our current atmosphere. The Strawberry Corner is a start but to see fans already whingeing on about having to stand is embarrassing, especially when you’ve got practically a full end standing up in this video. There needs to be a massive fan culture shift at SJP starting with the Strawberry corner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AFpCzxlByc
  9. Exactly chorizo munching team from yesteryear.
  10. The make up of our support has undoubtedly changed more than I’d realised over last 10 - 15 years. In my opinion completely for the worse.
  11. Just waiting for us to be linked to rejects like Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher now. I wouldn’t give the cunts a fucking penny and other clubs should do the same. Chelsea face having to raise substantial amounts of money by selling off players this summer to avoid breaching the Premier League's financial rules next year. (Times - subscription required)
  12. The whole Kop, upper Stretford end, south stand Leeds, Villa Park and Forrest the other night have large sections that stand. This is without rail seating what happens there ? honestly man I think our support has gone to the fucking dogs.
  13. Fuck me god forbid some folk can’t be put out for the greater good. Large swathes of fans stand at other PL grounds, since when did we become infested with the most selfish, theatre going, least edgy and fucking boring fans in the country.
  14. That would be such a waste and why anyone who doesn’t want to stand should be encouraged to shift.
  15. The only Southampton midfielder I’d be taking at these prices quoted would be Lavia. The only 3 British midfielders I want us entertaining in the summer are Maddison , Rice and Bellingham.
  16. He’s fucking shite 2 goals against part time halloumi munching footballers from Cyprus doesn’t change anything. Apologies Nicos Papavasiliou fucking legend.
  17. As somebody has correctly pointed out in that thread if they didn’t hijack Washington in the 70’s they would never have had a population comparable to Newcastle. Half the folk in Washington don’t even want to be classed as Sunderland. Imagine that one of the biggest areas in your own city where the majority support your biggest rivals. Daft cunts.
  18. The young danish striker tentatively linked a couple of times from Atalanta looks an exciting prospect and probably a lot more realistic.
  19. I can understand targeting players in January with PL experience if you want them to make an instant impact. No excuse in the summer though with a full pre season. I think a summer signing spree for example of Tierney, Gallagher, Barnes and McTominay would really set us back long term. They simply wouldn’t push us into the top 4 and would all be on long contracts. I would seriously question Ashworth if this transpired in the summer and you’d have to question if he was the driving force of Brightons transfers. I like Gordon and think he’ll be a decent acquisition but be interesting to see if he’s the start of a new approach to transfers with PL experience.
  20. Realistically the mancs would sting us for 20 million at least, whatever great deals we struck for Shelvey and Wood would be cancelled immediately. Then you’d get Chelsea signing someone like Kone for 40 million and we’d be fucking gutted. As much as I love Eddie just fucking no.
  21. The top clubs don’t want to deal with us, it would say everything if they we’re prepared to sell us McTominay at an undoubted premium.
  22. That’s because he plays for the mancs part time, those yellows will be sharp upgraded just watch.
