Another day ticks by , no striker available for Saturday in our biggest game of the season , a game that could just shape the next few years . I stand by we could be strikerless going into this . I’m away in Amble for this with friends as a treat for the wife , was desperate to go like but gotta think of her . With Wilson I genuinely thought we’d win 2-1 However we will lose this 0-2 and relegation will loom again. Too much going wrong after we have been handed a golden opportunity, get a striker in and we win, don’t we lose .

Dunno if this can be fixed , we aren’t going to get the players in we need in this window (we need to) . 2 more maximum may not be enough to save us based on yesterday . I’m also convinced we will NOT get a striker in , they are just precious to find . slow burner incoming and frustrating times .

Looking back at the game I stand by how we plainly can’t dictate play , it’s not the first time I’ve noticed it .These players have had years of being constantly on the back foot , they don’t know how to play possession football, the sheer lack of first touch is alarming. However we still had enough chances to easily beat Cambridge, it just wouldn’t go in and we just couldn’t put it in . So on reflection I’m not going to panic , however we need a total change and that’s going to take 2 season imho, so hang on in there lads and I’m a bit calmer than yesterday. I was too involved in that game yesterday

I honestly think not a single manager on this earth could galvanise these . reason? As I suspected they all in the main know they are out the door soon . Something I feared months ago is plain as day , they know they are soon to be with a new club and have no urge within them for the cause 100% , not all but the majority.

There's a lot of factors against him mind , as has been mentioned are this bunch of players fully behind wanting to keep us up? If they do most of them are gonnas, if they don't quite a few will be kept on, food for thought.

We have to be careful, he is the very best we could have got at the time 100%, there are some massive rebuilding stuff to do at this club, be patient ffs ,it could take years.
