  1. The relative low-keyness of the Villa fixture could actually work in our favour. Everything on Tuesday will be frantic and loud; by contrast Villa in the early Sunday game could be one of those sleepy 1-0s that the rest of the county barely register.

    The lowest moment for me in this respect was being in the concourse at the awful 5-1 loss at Selhurst Park and our fans singing about the I.R.A. and ISIS. Pure EDL shit and far removed from what I had always expected of our supporters.

    I know we have played them twice and that part of the reason for doing this is because they are desperate for us not to survive, but does it not also set a dangerous precedent? Say we had them on the final day, with us needing a win to stop up and them having nothing to play for? Could they not just play a reserve team and pocket the cash? Are these type of clauses common?
