  1. I have no idea how we have manged to accumulate 39 points, beggars belief
  2. So do I, its called a swamp
  3. Quote from the shitty Chronicle Report claims US consortium interest in takeover Frenchman Comolli, 47, was an influential figure in English football between 1996 and 2012 as he worked for Arsenal, Tottenham and then Liverpool in various recruitment and strategic roles. But his last direct involvement with any Premier League club was at Liverpool. That spell ended after just two years. West Ham appear be the favourite of the options being explored by the Comolli consortium – as long as David Moyes’ men can survive relegation.
  4. There is always a reason not to announce it, bliddy hell get it over with
  5. ♫ ♬ I feel it in my fingers... Fun fact (or not). The song that replaced that wet wet wet song after shitloads of weeks at number 1 was take that with back for good. The underlying chords are exactly the same. Not saying Barlow is a copying c*** but...... Whigfield's Saturday night replaced it in the charts, followed by "Sure" by Take That. Back for Good was a year later. So fun fact (or not) is actually "or not" Isn't Love Is All Around Me actually a song about Marti Pellow being on the skag. The first verse should say "brown" where it says "love", but the censors made them change it. It was the soundtrack to a million teenage fingerblast sessions during 1994, but it's a junkie anthem and parents were not happy when they found this out. Or not. You reckon the Troggs wrote a song about future Wet Wet Wet? They were psychic dudes The Troggs man.... Wild Things They Don't Tell Us - Reg Presley, lead singer of "The Troggs", here details the wild things that he believes the government secretly knows about, but will go to the most extraordinary lengths to stop the public from finding out. He presents his evidence of alien visitation, crop-circles and his scientific theory of why the Earth is gradually changing shape. My older sister saw The Troogs at The Majestic came back smitten with Reg Presley
  6. ♫ ♬ I feel it in my fingers... Fun fact (or not). The song that replaced that wet wet wet song after shitloads of weeks at number 1 was take that with back for good. The underlying chords are exactly the same. Not saying Barlow is a copying c*** but...... f*** it, the thread is due for another derailing. I do not believe that the charts were real. A song could maybe be top of the charts two, maybe three weeks max. My reasoning is thus; if a song is SOOOOOO popular then everybody would want to go buy it in the first week. Anyone missed would hear it being played on radio stations, TV, bars etc in the next week and but it. The stragglers would scoop the rest up in week three. After that, everyone who wanted it (in great numbers) would have already bought it. Plus, there is the oversaturation effect. Metro for example would play the same five songs every hour (exaggerations but you get my drift) to the point where even the most die hard fans would be sick of it. Over 10 weeks? I don't care how good anyone thinks wet wet wet and Bryan Adams are, they aint that good. Wasn't/Isn't radio play a factor in the charts, rather than it being solely based off of sales? The songs mentioned just take longer for the deluded masses to appreciate, they then have that light bulb moment and buy a copy for everyone they know and the cat
  7. South Shields FC @SouthShieldsFC · 5h Earlier today, an individual claiming to represent SSFC was featured on @LBC and expressed reprehensible views about the Black Lives Matter movement. This disgusting person in fact has no connection to the Club. Statement: https://southshieldsfc.co.uk/club-statement-10/
  8. Ironically had Labour been in power the deal would likely be dead and massive potential investment in our area along with it. You don't know that, ironically or not
  9. I'm confused. Has a post been deleted that this refers to because you've quoted yourself? Either way, I think this is the umpteenth time that there's been supposed intel from a player so you've set yourself up if you've come in here to claim the same. Sorry this was was a quote from Steve Giocoechea, I don't even know who lives next door to me
  10. Check my account mate, I've got no history of making shit up especially a piss take ITK account. I'm far to busy and have a life to be fucking around, Obviously I can't name the information came from but alls I say is it's today's talk in the players what's app group.
  11. I'm pretty sure he is wrong. Judicial review is only available of decisions made by public bodies. It is well established in case law that sports governing bodies are not judicially reviewable. See R -v- Football Association Ltd, ex parte Football League Ltd [1992] 2 All 833 And: https://www.ashurst.com/en/news-and-insights/legal-updates/judicial-review/ "The following characteristics have been considered relevant to whether an act or function can be reviewed. The "but for" test: in other words, whether, but for the existence of a non-statutory body, the functions exercised by such body would inevitably be regulated by statute. Bodies which have been considered amenable to judicial review using this test include the Advertising Standards Authority2 and the Takeover Panel3. However, the Football Association's decisions escaped review as the court held that if the Football Association did not exist, the state would not have found it necessary to perform its functions4." I may be wrong - but there's lot of reading out there on this - or may be thinking of a different judicial mechanism. Don't know who is right but if you are Greg, then could the PL just turn round and go - takeover denied because......well we can't be arsed with the hassle? Or we don't like NUFC as we love Sunderland....... and PIF wouldn't be able to legally challenge. Seems ridiculous if true The PL do seem to have it in for us TBH, if they do turn it down the court battle should be quite entertaining Nothing about this sorry saga is entertaining
  12. Well I'm positive my optimism will roll over until tomorrow or the day after or the day after that
