  1. Thanks for that, appreciated. Looks exactly like he's doing what is asked of him. Lots of maturity going on in this man's head! And a team player. Don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon and I think he will pick it up for sure after a few starts. Excited to see him and Isak together. I think they possibly might have similar footballing brains!
  2. It's hard to define the boundaries of yourself sometimes when you could be someone else if someone thinks you are
  3. This is horrible, i hope he's okay and found. One of my worst nightmares being buried alive, jeez.
  4. Haha the semi colon has always been a friend of mine
  5. Myself and Yorkie have chatted about this but no I am not him! This has just been my username since I was a kid so just pure coincidence and my name is Alisha so.... I get called Lish
  6. Think it shows tremendous growth and willingness that he's tracking back. Tbh I think this board judges him way too harshly. Gordon did some lovely things when he came on but he also lost the ball a couple of times. Especially at the end when it was our final chance... He tried to let the ball run and then a west ham defender kicked it into the sky. Whistle blew. Think we put our brown tinted glasses when we watch ASM and all we see is shit. He put in some lovely crosses and got into dangerous areas all whilst passing the ball (which we screamed for him to do) and tracked back and made 3 successful tackles! It's like we want him to fail. Maxi is fine in this team, we should have won that game with the amount of chances we created but it's just same sticky patch we are in at the moment. I think he wants to make it here and the fact that he's trying so hard, we should be applauding him. Him and Longstaff always get the brown glasses. Bruno can do no wrong even if he has a bad game. Maxi has literally saved us himself from relegation. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him; no takeover, no Eddie, just Cashley and his cronies. We NEED to keep him. He, more than anyone in that team, is our "messiah".
  7. As we are on TV so much this month, anyone got something just for the month that doesn't break the bank? I've got illegal (shh) streaming apps but the quality is awful.
  8. I hope not... I mean I do trust Howe and he must communicate his intentions to maxi but feels super harsh on the guy it is Murphy starting. He's been doing everything right when he comes on. Maybe targett coming back is a way in for him with more protection. Who knows.
  9. Unfortunately, this is true for most of the world. As a woman, can't tell you the amount of times I've felt like a second class citizen. It's disgusting that yet again, another high profile case gets thrown out. Reminds me of the Prima Facie show with Jodie Comer. Rape/sexual violence against women in the law has an appalling history. Other countries actually have specific rape courts to account for the trauma that a woman goes through (poor memory, lack of details) so that a fair trial can be had. In the UK, the woman is basically accused until she breaks anyway. What's the point? That's why so many men think they can do this because literally, nothing happens to them. And don't get me started on the rejection of Menapause law haha!
  10. This is the name we should call them in the title thread!
  11. 7/10 for me. Think the club is showing great things to the players; eg wood and shelvey. They weren't first choice and they didn't have massive contract time left. And they allowed them to move to another club who offered them maybe more money and more time and a chance to make an impact. Think it shows maturity and kindness. Yes would be great to have a new CM but we don't want any old codswallop. So best to wait. We tried for a loan but Chelsea playing hardball and also not showing kindness and maturity so fuck 'em. I don't think we are super light seeing as tho Shelvey has been out for months. Would rather Anderson could come in and learn than Shelvey who barely runs. Plus young talent really excites me and I think everton and West ham have got it wrong with those two and they will regret them leaving... And like man u and Chelsea will try to buy them back in 5 years for 200m or something silly like that.
  12. Considering Red Cafes name of us in their thread title: "Saudi Athletico Arabia", can we please retaliate with an appropriate name? It's like nobody watches us play football and just think we waste time and roll around the floor. Jog on. I hope we fooking dick them, I can't stand their self righteous entitlement. They'll be owned by a state soon and I will rain down on them with all the shit they've given us!
  13. But between 3 of the big clubs which matters I think. I rate him but he won't be idolised in the same way as shearer or Kane even though he's won more. Just my opinion.
  14. Me too. Look at shearer. He's probably done better for himself staying at Newcastle then leaving to go to a sure winner at the time like manure. Someone like Raheem Sterling who's won loads but moved loads, will be forgotten and never idolised.

    Anthony Gordon

    Surely we won't...
  16. When I was 10, I was on holiday. Had always liked and played football but I moved around south a lot so I didn't have a "team". Lo and behold I made fwends with a geordie boy, and we started playing football on the grass etc like kids do. And he wanted to know what team I supported and I said "England". And he was like but you have to have a team to support. Then he asked me who my favourite player was and of course my answer was "Alan Shearer". " Well you should support Newcastle then" And there we have it. I live in Brighton and have done since I was 18 but can I get on board with the team? Nope. Because we went head to head with them in the championship I can't even have them as a "second team". In fact I always hope they lose!!! I'm definitely an adopted geordie
  17. Is this on Sky sports premier league or sky sports main event?
  18. I hope so BUT if I could have just one it would be them haha.
  19. I'm all for Everton and West ham failing because I think it's funny and I know they'll love to laugh at us esp when we got relegated x2. BUT... I would love to see Liverpool crash and burn. Ever since they bought Andy Carroll I've despised them. I'm young enough that him leaving broke my heart ? so when they bought him I could never forgive them. And now with our new owners, they don't even consider that Howe has done a decent job so no credit is ever given. They are apparently a "real" football club. Fook them. They deserve everything they get and I hope Bellingham never joins them. Rant over.
