  1. Probably all BS, but I could'nt care less on any of the above.
  2. Walking footy! Shocking this like. Not even competitive.
  3. Good to have the clarity and move forward. As others have said, I'd like to see us evolve into a more technical footballing side - there has to be more than out running the opposition and constantly chasing the ball that we just gave back to them. Everyone needs to re-evaluate and step up, a renewed sense of identity needs to be the priority - especially our coaching and tactical approach.
  4. He becomes more Zidane every game he misses.
  5. GK Tino (if his head and body are in it) Thiaw Botman (If he learns to run again) Hall Miley Bruno CM/10 LW RW CF
  6. I was merely saying it was interesting - While I agree managers should evolve. I'm not suggesting we change manager.
  7. Watching Poch on the overlap - "If you don't adapt, you die" talking about how his philiosophy evolves with the squad and players he inherits. Interesting watch.
  8. After a week of stewing on that lovely pass to Wissa, been thinking was I wrong along? Still don't think he's that good, he's still too soft, weak and lacks the drive to score goals. Clear he's not a number 9, maybe a number 10, definitely not an 8, and certainly not a 6. Unfortunately, we don't play a 10 so I'm not sure he's worth the place on the bench for such a cost, under our current manager. Still, that ball was a beauty and I hope I'm wrong.
  9. I'm glad this game was second, it get's me prepared for the EPL weekend again. I started to believe football was like the 90's again after last night.
  10. Sadly one of the many reasons the manager is under pressure right now. Sticking with half-hearted, mediocre players. Watch yesterdays second goal and tally that up in his numbers. Out of interest Nidiaye at Everton 17 goals in 64 vs Murphy at Newcastle 25 goals in 259. To be clear - I don't think Nidiaye will win us the Champions League, but he's a far better footballer than Jacob Murphy ever will be.
  11. Murphys number were Messi-esque last season. I'd not start him in West Denton U12 this. More humans who like the round thing please.
  12. Technical, tenacious, has guile, vision and actually demands the ball. What's not to like?
  13. Ndiaye is a player I like.
  14. I mentioned this to my mate next to me. He made a tackle on Barnes early, snarled in his face and then contiued to shut him out all day long. Barnes knew he was beaten. Jiminez reminded me of the attitude we used to have. The exact type of player we should be buying this summer, rather than more flash harry's.
  15. Half arsed and ineffective unless he's cutting and hitting top bins. The blonde haired RB had his number from minute 1 and Barnes did'nt fancy it.
  16. Who would have thought, an unprofessional that went on strike at his last club, would look to unprofessional warming up and in training for his new club.
  17. 55 million pound. ffs. I've seen lads with a better touch playing sunday league.
  18. Like watching school kids today - and a manager that was schooled again.
  19. Just back from the match. Not the worst performance - but another one that ultimately meant nothing. There’s a growing sense of players going through the motions: doing just enough to avoid criticism, but nowhere near enough to actually win a game. Barnes and Elanga deserve special mention, unfortunately. In very different ways, both exposed their limitations today - and neither came close to the level required. Their first goal, and the chance just before half-time, summed it up. Tino looked completely switched off. Like Barnes, it was a sequence of passive, half-hearted actions that gave off the impression of player lacking urgency and accountability. That’s the worrying part - the rot feels like it’s set in. For a manager who’s built everything on intensity and momentum, we now look flat and predictable. And that predictability is hard to ignore. Most of us could see the 1–2 coming. The pattern is familiar: slow, crowded build-up play, players stepping on each other’s toes, trying to force intricate combinations we don’t quite have the players to execute. 3/10 - Shite.
  20. 86 West Ham at Home - In the Milburn Terrace with my Mam - Programme, Hot Dog, Smell of Hops and Piss, and a pink to finish off the day. Memories indeed.
  21. When he plays upfront, he never attacks the box, he'd never be where Osula was today. When he plays as a 9, he drops to an 8, when he played as an 8 he dropped to a 6. He likes to play where there is no pressure - bit of a footballing coward tbh. Has a canny knack of finding someone to mark him and I'm yet to see him win a flick on or header outside of the box. Some silky touches when theres no pressure on, but seems petrified of centre halves in this league. Weak physically and mentally.
  22. Kinda what I believe but was being a little kinder. lol
  23. He's just too delicate and passive - soft as clarts like a few others in the team. Seems to have as much aggression as self belief. I've said it all year, he's a decent footballer but folk go on like he's Zidane - he never attacks a ball, the box or shoots. He's weak and not suited to the PL.
