Another passive cameo from a player who is not too arsed about getting in the box and scoring goals. Im not sure I've seen him sprint to get on the end of a cross - he jumps shorter than his standing height and he runs slower when needed in the box. We have two lazy half arsed strikers who both seem MIA.

Like last summer

Nothing seems to change or evolve - and its typically Newcastle United, hamstrung by PSR to piss nearly 200m on Woltemade, who is shit scared to attack a cross, Wissa, who lives offside, Elange who is a runner with no touch and Ramsey, not getting into the team. 2 shots on target against the bottom team is simply not good enough.

Literally only have Hall and Bruno who like to play football with the ball and have any sort of vision. So limited technically.

A beautiful pass and definitely something we see very little of in our team - that kind of vision. Otherwise, I found him poor again. He refuses to attack a header, he rarely sprints into the box to attack a cross and he still jumps with his head under his shoulders. He needs a to toughen up, play quicker, mix up his game and release the ball earlier. Technically, he's great - but he needs to grab the game and do more.

Thought he did well today. Tidy on the ball, quick on the half turn and to turn defence into atttack. Was nice to see him dictate the game a little more today. I mentioned to my mate today that maybe at times, he and tonali maybe struggle with how influential Bruno is in regards dictating our pattterns of play. (not knocking Bruno - love the guy).

Just in from the game - He was very poor today and 100% to blame for that late goal, aswell as a few other moments where he's lost track of where he was positioning wise. He's never been blessed with pace but just coming back, he looked like he was running in mud towards the end. (as a few were understandably). Let's hope he can get up to match fitness and find old form. He's still a player, just a rusty one right now.

Weak, bottles all 50/50's, cant pass, cant control a ball, ball watches, sleeps on his full back cover, jogs back when defending - But can cross a decent ball. Needs replacing or needs to work harder on the basics of putting more effort into the above. Possibly one of the worst performances I've seen today, not sure he completed one pass to a teammate.

(The tone and effort that Murphy ignored all day). Lastly, Barnes has to start, we could even bring him on after Gordons first 15 minutes of effort. HWTL
