Exactly, we shouldn't and wouldn't have been anywhere near relegation ever if it wasn't for Ashley. Also the way they say he got us 5th and into Europe conveniently forgetting we were in Europe nearly every season pre Ashley

I read every word of your posts and I do like the passion HTT[/member]

The don is a chancer. Who knew.

That will be well deserved to in the eyes of all them massive lads fans. A white hatchet man who hates the mags shoold receive his full salary for life marra

Same. I would go as far as to say he is the NUFC player in the time I have known (mid 90s until now) that has had the best work rate and covered the most ground. Other notable candidates and mentions of the top of my head would go to Bellamy, as much as he was a sod there was a 2/3 year spell where he was non stop and maybe Speed? He always seemed to be box to box
-
If they just knew their place and what they are and acknowledged the fact NUFC is a far superior club then they wouldn't even bother me in the slightest and maybe I could wish them well. But the fact they actually somehow believe they are on a par with us is mental levels of delusion

I'd be up for playing I fancy myself as pretty handy at football quizzes

He defaults and they own the club. It's pretty much what they all hope for. Problem is, they don't want it, especially now with everything going on. A ground with social distancing in place makes no money. The academy was worth money for land, but development will be down for some time to come. If thry do anything it'll be extend the agreement, which doesn't help them at all. Tbf social distancing wouldn't make a bit of difference to them. Each fan could already have about 6 seats to themselves

It would do them a favour to be fair. Remove that giant chip on their shoulder and the place would be a lot less angry, bitter and depressed all the time. Even if it would still resemble chickentown
-
He was bought in purely for disciplinary reasons wasn't he to keep the brat pack of the likes of Dyer and Bellamy in check wasn't he?
-
Aye they are the bitterest set of fans about along with Everton. They are always proud of how Everton fans like them and how well they get along. Not realising it's due to the fact they both share a massive level of bitterness at being in their near neighbours giant shadow for ages

Fingers crossed. I never used to mind them that much just saw them as a yoyo club growing up whilst we were mainly decent and usually better than them. However the way they went on from the 6 in a row marra and sent the mags down marra has me wishing only the absolute worst on them. I celebrated Charltons playoff final winner against them last season as much as any goal in recent memory.

Na that's off the mark like about the direction of travel at the time for Newcastle. He was signed under Sir Bobby and we were playing good football at the time and Milner played in Europe for us and was clearly a talented player. Also I'm sure he scored against Man United the same game that Edgar did.

Coventry at home 99 was my first. 4-1 with Louis Saha scoring for us

They are planning for all of next season behind closed doors as well now. I just can't picture it, will look so weird and I can't see it working at all

Brilliant that! What a man.

You the Boss here now like? Also, can you point out where I've said anything about asking people for proof of anything? I've merely stated that people are justified in feeling anxious given the character involved in selling the club. I've not claimed the period of exclusivity ends on a specific time, but said that reports from both ends indicate thats the case. Wind your neck in daft lad. I'm absolutely sick of the negativity mate. We've had it for a few weeks on here, not just from you, today is just the tip of the iceberg. We are on the verge of becoming the richest club in the world, and more above that we are on the verge of having a club with ambition again, and having hope. We have had 13 years of negativity, and that's just under Ashley. People just need to calm down, all signs point towards this being completed soon, be that within the next week, or the next 3. I just don't understand why people are going around in circles to argue why it won't happen or to argue negatives. f***ing hell, once this is completed we are going to have carry the onslaught of negative press regarding our owners, and that's not just for a few weeks, that's going to be forever now. We have already had fans infighting on how to get rid of Ashley etc. People on this forum have tried so hard to get a Newcastle with ambition back, we have all had to suffer the fans infighting. Right now we don';t need it. Right now we rightly should be discussing what sort of cans we are having when it's announced and how they want to see the club move forward. We shouldn't be discussing how there is <0.05 value of it happening, and how so. I do get where you are coming from with that but I completely disagree. There is something which isn't making this sail through like people hoped. If we get to Friday with no news I think people will be quiet entitled to start asking questions and being concerned. It would be great to be planning the celebrations but they may well never happen. It's only right people prepare themselves for the worst possible outcome as well.
