Na I can’t see it. Uefa are massively against it as well. So they are saying there will only be 5 additional qualifying spots each season so that must be 1 team from the big 5 leagues in Europe. So what about clubs from Holland, Belgium, Croatia etc. Are they just not going to be able to play European football again? No way I could ever see this happening too many issues to overcome. Only way it could is if they left the PL, if they did then good riddance they wouldn’t be missed.

? I don’t get it still. We would all be better off without them 6. So either this gets stopped. Or if it does happen the PL won’t allow them to play here so the rest of us will have a far more fairer and competitive league.

Why would Leeds be so against it. If then 6 clubs left Leeds with Bielsa would have a good chance of trophies over the next few years surely

Yep. Football is fucked now it’s too far gone. There should have been salary and spending caps as well as a certain amount of your squad having to be homegrown/ from your academy from just after the PL started, or certainly before the 100k plus a week contracts became the norm. Should have been a limit of £25 a ticket and standing sections too. It’s too far gone and this implosion has been coming for a a while.

Greed took over the moment Chelsea and Man City were allowed to be funded by oil money to hoover up most of the last 15 titles between them. It’s obviously a joke idea if they stayed in the PL as well as this super league but if they left the PL then that gives the rest of us hope and a chance to win things for once as that’s the only way it’s going to happen. Things just carry on as they are then Man City will just continue to buy titles with their oil money. Removing them only makes English football better in my view.

I keep reading that it would wreck the pyramid system in this country. In what way? I fail to see how. The likes of Man City and Chelsea have pretty much blank cheque books anyhow

I don’t get the outrage over this or how it would be bad for English football and clubs like us. Aren’t we all sick of Man City and Chelsea winning everything? If they stay in the PL then they will just use all their money to dominate anyway. They are all plastic soulless clubs now anyhow so how would they be any miss and why is everyone so outraged? I keep reading and hearing that money and greed is ruining the game and I agree. So the “big 6” leaving surely removes that problem and creates a more level playing field.

I disagree. We are 6 pts above 18th with a game in hand now with Ashley and Bruce and ASM and Wilson out half the season. If them 2 are fit most of next season we would be comfortable around 13th

We will stay up. Ashley will be here all next season. Bruce will be here all next season. We will get a few loans and frees in the summer and be 12th-16th next season too. We will have 48k crowds whenever fulll stadiums are allowed. That’s my prediction to look back on in 12 months. Ashley gets another year of PL money and hassle free ownership of the club. I think he is playing a blinder and playing us all for fools again using this arbitration stuff to keep fans off his back and to get away with another year of neglect. As the media tell us why should he improve the club as he is desperate to sell it
