There was one point where a ball was played into him in the middle and he was getting closed down by two players, he produced a perfect first touch and moved it on. That first touch is the difference between a class midfielder and a good one. so far this season he’s played Man City and Dortmund away, not bad for a 17 year old and will make other promising youngsters join us.

Sometimes things work out when you’re going through a tough time. Remember when Ciaran Clark got sent off against Norwich, it was the making of big Joe. with all the injuries we have now, who knows it may be the making of Lewis Hall etc..Let’s just see how we feel at Xmas when all the players return.

Let’s move on - he’s apologised - good on him, if he doesn’t do it again then all good from side. I’ll be honest. He made me feel uncomfortable about supporting my own club for the first time in ages. Hopefully he learns from it-we’re a wonderful club going in right direction.
