  1. Totally agree and after the first quarter of the season they were five points clear. I know most club supporters overate their team, but they go on as if they have the next Busby babes. Bellingham is living off his brother's name and Rigg has looked average when I've seen him play. Their goal contributions bear this out also. They're young so that may change, but for them to keep stating generational talent is just laughable currently. They are 4th in probably the worst championship there has been in years.
  2. Bruno has been poor, but so have all the team apart from Isak and Hall (mostly). He needs to be playing in the number 8 position when Joelington comes back in. Only a few weeks ago, some were saying we had the best midfield in the country. Well they all have the rest of the season to bring home the bacon. Big three month coming up and a few questions will be answered.
  3. Funny as fuck how they're all slagging Sheff Utd off for 'stealing' their automatic promotion place (8 points ahead despite being docked 2 points).
  4. Aye he is, having a poor year, but for missing that first time, he should be demoted. He won't be though as they will say right decision eventually given
  5. Did the camera show if Oliver had a decent view of that challenge? I've only seen a YouTube clip of it
  6. Sane here I do watch the lasses games above anything else if their on some stream, except when the men's team are on. Yeah fully understandable with the time difference
  7. Unfortunately I don't think many will be watching it. I don't like watching two games, when the men's team are playing (In particularly such a crucial game) as I like to fully concentrate on the men's team. Probably too late notice due to it being a cup game and the travel for the City team and fans, but an ideal kick off time for the ladies team would have been 11am.
  8. The two teams they hate the most in the league could well be one of their opponents in the playoffs offs, Coventry and Boro. They will be rancid if either manage to knock them out if that happens
  9. Got to look at getting a longer suspension for that. Horrific challenge
  10. Also weren't City the first team to withdraw from the Super League, wouldn't be surprised if it's a little payback.
  11. After Wednesday it's obvious fans hopes have dwindled and that's including me. They had a full team out (apart from Robinson), it was at Anfield and we were missing three key players fundamental to our team and overall play. At the home game we totally controlled the first half and their two opening goals were down to mistakes by Hall, Murphy and Joelington. Liverpool are very impressive at capitalising on other teams mistakes and we need to have full concentration and be switched in throughout. We perform like we did in that opening 45 minutes then we have a half decent chance. Can we though that is the question.?
  12. You're not kidding there, his mission after that was to piss us off no matter what and he loved every second of doing it
  13. Gordon against City but that was a penalty not open play
  14. What's the bald cunt done now?
  15. I'm going off that we have three opportunities to make this a fantastic season. If it was just one then I wouldn't be saying that. When you had been attending since 1973 and seeing us win fuck all, then all those years take their toll. Hey you don't agree that's fine, I've not got a problem with that
  16. I had a season ticket from the opening of the east stand until the season we were relegated. I've seen it all
  17. Nope it's the reason I jacked in eventually. I've seen worse than that under McKeag in my time. Both utter cunts also although I agree Ashley takes first place.
  18. See my comment above, relegations happen we've seen it a few times. Never seen an opportunity like this throughout the history of the club. Each to their own though
  19. Being in this position as failing on all three fronts, I'd still argue it would be.
  20. This could be the best season in the history of the club or it could also end up as one of the worst seasons in the club's history if we don't win a cup and finish outside the European places. Key to this is getting Isak. Joelington and Botman on the pitch at the same time. On a knife edge and the next 6 weeks are massive.
  21. I mentioned this also about Tonali in his thread, but he looks quicker when he's busting a gut to get into the box when we're on the attack. I remember the Leicester goal, when he covered from half way inside our half to get onto Willock's cross. Couple of other times he has done this also I'm certain. He looks likes he's walking in the Louisiana swamps when he's running towards our goal mind.

    Nick Pope

Up to that Liverpool game, I wouldn't have swapped him for any keeper he was that outstanding. His form dipped a little on his return, but imo that shoulder injury against Man U has seen him lose a lot of confidence and dare I say it hesitation. He used to catch just about everything before that injury, whereas he looks vulnerable now and more often than not prefers to punch. Maybe he needs a long stretch of games, but the position where in, we just can't take the chance, especially when you consider his distribution, which was never the best, but has went right to pot since the before mentioned Liverpool game. That is definitely confidence knowing he's under big scrutiny on that front. By the way I'm nowhere near 100% confident in Dubravka either, but he was a part of the 9 game winning run; and his distribution is far better than Pope and I believe the defence are more confident of receiving and giving the ball when Dubravka in between the posts
  23. The cups are also a guarantee of a European place next season, obviously if we win either
  24. I may be totally wrong as Howe is a man with a 1000 faces in press conferences, but I still got the feeling Dubravka will start Sunday. The question asked was if Pope was his number 1 and will keep his place and he skirted around the question as he cleverly does. He also mentioned that Pope looked rusty in parts on Wednesday and he's never done that when he's returned previously
