  1. Funny as fuck seeing most of them not wanting Armstrong because he is a 'mag'. He would be absolutely perfect for them in the Championship. I suppose, at least they can boo him, if he gets a loan move to another club and scores. Great to see them spending most of their money resigning players from last year also.
  2. So if that's the case why don't they go in for him anyway? Shouldn't be the case that we are only prepared to buy if another team makes an offer.
  3. They have trouble getting any investment never mind PIF. There's a reason Donald is still stinking the place out and the French kid had to increase his shares. They were wanking themselves silly a couple of weeks ago with ITK shite that 'big investors' were coming on board. At least it has raised the faux outrage up a notch from its already very high level.
  4. Looks like they have taken the option off now as just tried with the new training kit to see if it was still available and it wasn't.
  5. RTG Forum since October 7th
  6. I disagree I maintain a CM is just as important as a RW. I am pretty sure though both will be brought in this window.
  7. I've been saying it for weeks that a quality CM is an absolute must if we really want to make the move forward. Not next window or the one after, we need one in place this window. The current midfield we have now are not going to control games.
  8. They loved Ashley because it meant that NUFC were never going anywhere apart from back to the championship (for the third time). They now hate our new owners because NUFC are now a progressive club with ambitions of challenging on all fronts. They are totally broken and their non stop faux outrage (only since the takeover happened mind ) is hilarious.
  9. They love a good daily let's tell lies exercise
  10. So basically reporters getting their clickbait news out again. Keep saying just ignore them
  11. Nearly every premiership player has a release clause now. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't.
  12. The daily life of a mackem
  13. Mad how all of the mags on here are not from Newcastle so come onto this board to try and justify why they support them and pretend they are massive jawdees a bit like Sam I’m a Geordie Fender. Are these fuckers generally so thick, that they actually think you only qualify as a Geordie if you were born within the city limits? I know the daft cunt who posted this is one of the most bitter and jeslous fuckers on there; but fuck me they nearly all love a good fairytale, when a quick google search is all that is required. Nearly as bad as the clown 'chico' (or something like that) last week, who was making up figures to try and have a go at our attendances. Totally broken to a man.
  14. Of course it is, In fact even with Bruno it's mid table level at best. To me (I know some don't agree), adding a quality centre midfielder is an absolute must
  15. I'd be gobsmacked if we get any more defenders in, when we are desperate for players further up the field. More clickbait me thinks.
  16. That's all that comes to mind when I read your posts. Anyway leave it here as it's obvious it's starting to nark people (rightly so).
  17. We got 51% against Arsenal great, and 48% against Burnley who averaged 40% possession themselves last season, so not a great barometer when you consider both teams can't get 40% in a game.
  18. Agreed, but you need the players to allow you to do that, which is the point I was making. Arsenal was a fabulous performance, but the next game against Burnley wasn't.
  19. The possession was the same for most of the time with Bruno also. The Arsenal game was a fabulous performance, the Burnley one wasn't.
  20. When Wilson was playing up to Man United the possession was the same. If you think a team can sustain moving forward on 40% football then you're totally clueless. Fortunately I think the Howe and the owners realise that.
  21. Doesn't matter who the midfield was it struggled to get 40% in the majority of games. Personally to me either Shelvey or Longstaff would be getting sold. We need the three (all are a MUST in my opinion) that's what I'm saying to take the next step. I think we will get all three, but will have to see how the rest of the window plays out.
  22. Just think it's the way Howe prefers to play his midfield. As I said I think it will be Shelvey. Shelvey was a shoe in before his injury. No matter what the combination was in midfield, we still struggled to get 40% during games. As I said, I think a new midfielder is a must, if you or others don't agree (or think we can wait until a future transfer window) then that's fine to have your opinion. We will just have to wait to see what the rest of the window brings.
