Was thinking surely the owners know there is a lot of fan/media attention on the sponsorship (particularly the shirt). The owners will have known exactly what the position is concerning Fun88 from practically day one. I just can't understand why all the journalists (Caulkin, Hope), who have been speaking to the owners regularly, have not established that Fun88 will still be the sponsor if that is the case. Can't imagine why the owners wouldn't relay that information.

That's only if Newcastle don't want to sell him. He'll be gone for about 10 million this summer imo.

See no reason for this mind as it would make sense announcing the new sponsor whilst unveiling the new kits. They have had ample tme to negotiate a new deal. Maybe that's just my wishful thinking, but we will soon find out.

I think you might be surprised how many will be put off by the Fun88 logo (I wouldn't buy one that's for sure and all my family/mates have also said they wouldn't). Yeah there will probably be increased sales (especially youth), but nothing compred to a new sponsor.

I know before anyone starts, but could you imagine if the new shirt was unveiled tomorrow with a new sponsor and worn by a new signing.

I'm just hoping the owners would pay any contract up. Just can't see the sense in keeping a gambling logo on a shirt of a club owned by the Saudi PIF. I was hoping to get the green/white and blue kit for the first time in years - no chance if it's Funn88 still.

The supposed kits images have no logos on. Is that normal with all clubs kits before they are officially released or do even pre-release kits have the logos on. Don't usually follow kits so not sure.
