  1. I was hoping Bournemouth would be back in for him (failure to go up put paid to that) as he is a total liability. He is far too slow to react and loses his man every single time. The penalty reaction was just laughable.
  2. Rafa had a good solid system, which meant the team defended from front to back. Dubs is a big miss with organisation and Lascelles/Shar would be my first two choices currently, however I would be looking to upgrade on these two also (not going to happen I know). I'm not a fan of Hayden (another average player to me) and the least said about Shelvey the better. Ritchie is a total liability defensively and Murphy is not solid defensively either). Lejeune is better than we have currently (even as back up).
  3. Very very easy to fathom - Steve Bruce. I knew before the game even started that West Ham would have a field day with Krafth, Clark and Fernandez. All 3 are a liability, but the problem is (although Lascelles and Schar should be in the team), is that I don't think any of our central defenders are much more than average. Not helped mind, that their protection is from a midfield who were our Championship first choice 5 year ago and two full/wing backs who are pretty poor defensively also.
  4. How the fuck is Krath playing centre half when you have both Lascelles and Shar on the bench. The useless fat cunt starting early again with his 5 at the back at home I see.

Would have woken the library up also.

Tbf I think it would have been Willock's first choice also. Arteta wanted the money though it would seem.

They are, but if Willock (or his agent) is wanting to keep the release clause relatively low, then that's when the issues occur. Just can't see Ashley accepting that.

Be interesting to see if Arsenal have put a sell on % to any future sale as that would cause a massive issue with any release clause.

If the deal here goes sour, looks like he will be getting a lot of bench time as no other club seems interested at the price. Looks like Arteta wants to utilise the cash also as it’s obvious he doesn’t want him. Maybe a last minute loan deal to one of the bottom half clubs or abroad to try and get the cash deal next summer. Just have to wait and see I suppose as Ashley won’t agree to demands if he thinks they’re too high.

Typical Downie (and earlier Graves) who is a definite Ashley stooge. He’s always kissed Ashley’s arse in the past.
  11. Can’t see any reports of a sell on fee, so looks like he’s not that highly rated by Tottenham, otherwise they (especially Levy) would have insisted on one. Also looks like no championship teams interested either.
  12. Getting the mackems might be a bonus either way. Beat them (very likely) and it will leave them rancid for a good while. However, on the off chance they did knock us out, then Bruce would then be getting absolute pelters from all corners, even from the sheep going to the match.

I think we would be ok I agree (was just pointing out one game could make a difference). Long term injury to Wilson could change that though and St Max injury record is poor also.

Disagree on one game not having that big an imact, as that one game could be the difference between staying up and relegation (3 points, 1 point, goal difference).
  15. Newcastle have made an offer of € 14million + 2million Bonuses in Midtjylland for Jens Cajuste. Rennes have yet to make a fourth bid but the competition is now intensifying

I didn't say that, I said to be available.

If it's not done by the time of the cut off point to play on Sunday, then I think it will be a case of he's not coming. Even Bruce will be putting pressure on, as he will be desperate to have him available.

Bit daft this time seeing as there is a game at the weekend, but, no surprise with this club.

He’ll still be a massive improvement from the current options who are cemented five yards from our central defence.
  20. Thing is though what actually was his initial gesture? I wouldn't believe anything that spouts from his mouth
  21. Might be, I just thought it was a post that had been deleted by someone.
  22. What was said in the deleted post. Was it anything of note since it’s being asked why it’s been deleted?
  23. Do what I’m doing, switch off from both it’s much easier and avoids being permanently pissed off.
  24. I would say not especially as 100% of the time, the takeover thread(s) just go over the same points and arguments. Nobody knows what the fuck is happening and won't get any official info until the CAT September date. Even then unless Ashley's case is kicked out then, nobody is going to know anything officially until probably next year (unless the actual CAT case gets a date this year - very unlikely). The only other way we will have official news outside of the legal cases, is for either the consortium to pull out, Ashley to pull out, or the Premier League agree out of court for the takeover to proceed - all three very unlikely again. In my opinion it's pointless even discussing at the moment (and even worse repeatng the same points), might as well just forget about it until at lease the next scheduled court date in Spetember.
  25. Yeah though it does indicate nothing is agreed. I remember Sissoko with a face like an arse having to take photos also.
