I’ve no doubt they will if the judge states the case can proceed, but any appeal has to have justification. Hopefully the judge discounts any appeal, if not then pass as to how long it takes. Either way, nothing is going to happen until it plays out.

They shouldn’t be in the job if they’re scared to go against Ashley. Hope and Winter are the only two reporters worth their salt as they tell it as it is. Reporters are paid to report on issues, not to suck up to Ashley in case they’re banned from press conferences. As for nothing happens, in terms of signings yes, but plenty on how the club is operated, the management of the team, the stadium decline, the total lack of willingness to progress. As I said we have a set of reporters, who are plainly more interested in their clicks and sucking up to Ashley/Bruce than doing actual investigative journalism.

This will probably be covered this year by the fees received from Lejuene and Armstrong. This season is going to be nasty, Bruce should resign but he won’t and this will increase the pressure.

If true that's what happened with that Soumaré also (except he didn't want to come full stop). In the Keegan/Robson years, top French players wanted to come and play for Newcastle. In the Pardew years, French players saw Newcastle as a chance to highlight their skills and get a move to a higher level club. In the Bruce years, no French player wants to be anywhere near the club.
