  1. At the end of the day it will boil down to the two legal cases only. If it was down to external parties it would have been done by now. The government has already came out and said they will not interfere.
  2. Like the news was expected at the previous dates. As for not too long away, by then it’s nearly two years and counting.
  3. Letters do fuck all and the so called protests have been plainly embarrassing throughout Ashley’s ownership. The fan base is totally divided and not enough (especially match goers) will support anything in numbers, which will attract the necessary national media attention. I applaud the people who want to try to force change and get the support on board, however history tells us that won’t happen. The legal cases are therefore the only solution for any possibility of success. Whether they actually do see this through, the simple answer is fuck knows. The lack of news and progress is certainly frustrating and annoying.
  4. It was the reaction to the Sunderland defeats that made Pardew fuck off asap.
  5. That's why he is and will be the manager for the foreseeable future. Total and utter yes man.
  6. Unfortunately, that is probably the only thing which would get the sheep to turn.
  7. No point being pleased about the result, as it will make no difference whatsoever. The fact cockney bastard could not give one single fuck and the media/punters will still back that fat useless cunt to the core. Anyone who went tonight, I'm so pleased your night was totally shit despite getting the opportunity for a fucking wave. Total clueles sheep each and every one of them, accepting the club being ran into the ground so they can beat their chests and enjoy their pint with their mates. Support the team not the regime - WANKERS!
  8. You couldn't pay me £20 to go and watch that shit
  9. 5 at the back again (at home) and an absolutely hideous line up all round. How the fuck can anyone go and support the club under this manager and owner absoutely astounds me.
  10. That Exile 1968 on their forum is just totally obsessed with us. He posts nothing unless it's NUFC related, absolutely nothing about his own club. He must have been giving a good kicking or bullied by NUFC fans in the past. I know they are obsessed, but he takes it to another level.
  11. Of course they could afford the loan fee, Ashley/Barnes/Penfold just didn't want to pay it.
  12. So leave Dubravka out. Absolutely pointless to miss any opportunity for bringing a player in just to keep everyone happy. By the time he returns and gets back up to fitness levels, you could be talking getting towards 3 months. Absolutely stupid even though he is our number 1 keeper.
  13. Absolute no need to name 4 keepers whatsoever. You ask the medical staff which keeper out of Dubs and Darlow will be ready to return first and then you leave the other one out of the squad until January. Absolute bullshit as usual from Bruce.
  14. Mind according to Staveley they did submit the documentation and more. The Premier League just kept kicking the can down the road. They don’t want the takeover, but haven’t got the balls to knock it back due to it possibly (legally) coming back to kick them in the balls. That’s why we’re in this legal quagmire now. As for this new ‘sole’ company, again nobody has a clue what it’s about, so the guessing games continue (not as much tbf as I think everyone is just so sick to fuck of it all). Is it McLaren, takeover or something totally else. Can’t wait for the Ryder/Edwards/Jacobs/Bullshit Keith update.
  15. You don’t spend millions going through an arbitration case if there is not an actual buyer. If it was just the CAT case, with Ashley just going for compensation, then maybe (I don’t think it is just for compensation though). Whether PIF stay at the table will be interesting. It’s their only chance of getting a premier league club for the foreseeable future though, so I think they will see it through until it’s concluded either way.
  16. Probably loved him when he was playing for us.
  17. Laugable thing is that I would get rid of over 70% of that squad, but that's where we are the past 15 years, now and a fair likelihood for the forseeable also. How anyone can actually go and watch a match I do not know. The bloke has openly carried out a slow death operation on all aspects of the club alongside openly taking the piss, and the sheep still turn up.
  18. And to get a helping hand for introduction into the middle east market, which is why he is fighting like mad to legally push it through.
  19. It's the way he plays, but question is will he change if the Saudi deal does not go though? Only time will tell
  20. They pulled out after her initial bid was rejected https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/17/reuben-family-newcastle-takeover-amanda-staveley
  21. Not sure if the Ruebens were involved last time as I'm sure it was reported they had pulled out. Whichever funding she had, it wasn't enough to get Ashley to agree, unlike the current deal.
  22. I hate Ashley with everything, he is however a businessman and the owner, who will attempt to get a deal done on his terms. He doesn't give a fuck about the club or the fans. This time he has got everything he is looking for (and probably more with business opportunities opening up in the middle east). That's why he is putting millions into the legal route. Not being argumentative it's just the way it is with Ashley. Don't like it, but it's his club and he can do what he wants, and couldn't give a fuck if he is hated for it.
  23. Well we don’t know who has been in for us, except for Kenyon. Staveley 1st time (backing wasn’t reported), or the previous Arab attempt and to be honest 2 of those would have been very bad; and as I said previously we don’t know what money was behind Staveley in her first attempt (looking at how she was wanting to structure the deal that time it was obviously not extensive). Credit to her she then looked at other parties. I’ll not even mention the bankrupt Singapore group. As much as everyone wants Ashley gone, the new owners need to be in a position to at least move the club forward and provide investment. Unless you can name other potential interested owners which have been reported.
  24. Without a doubt this is his main take as he couldn’t give a fuck about the club or the fans.
