  1. Is Martinez based in the UK as if not it's a bit of a concern that he was at the Wigan match today, I'm hoping he still is.
  2. I agree, the onus is on the owners to get someone in asap to at least ensure we are within touching distance come January.
  3. Would be hoyed out of court straight away that. As I said the ship has sailed. What are they going to do force a sale because they attempted to change a rule, to prevent owners they had already agreed were acceptable, from entering the league. Never happen in a million years.
  4. Very rare 40 points is needed to stay up
  5. Our result and takeover is their comfort blanket tonight after their 'we are best team in the third division' show against Rotherham. Crinkly Granny Janey and manic obsessive Exile ramping up the cause. Those two are beyond meltdown mode
  6. Wouldn't stand a leg in court if they tried that. Once the PL accepted our takeover that boat has sailed.
  7. Totally agree I was hoping for this week just gone. Can't let it keep going as it's a walking disaster at the moment on the field.
  8. I still think the Saudis will still be determined, as they waited nearly 2 year to get the green light. As for the league, any rule would be challenged and taken apart in court in terms of the owners. That boat sailed when they allowed the takeover to proceed. I would be frustrated as we would experience a period of two year (maybe even more) behind where we could have been.
  9. Welcome to the forum Yasir bin Othman Al-Rumayyan
  10. I agree and I can add another 12 years to your total also. I can see it happening though genuinely.
  11. When you are playing a defensive game, then your players have to pressure the opposition, or they have the run of the field with open spaces all over the pitch to pick out players. Against top quality opposition they will pick you off eventually. We didn't even have any plan going forward on the counter. The entire game we were passing the ball back to Darlow, who then just kicked it upfield with no direction, giving the ball back to Chelsea to come forward unchallenged again time after time.
  12. Could well be, as Dyche has a good record of just pulling them clear when the look dead and buried halfway through the season.
  13. I think Burnley will be there or thereabouts also and not sure about Brentford (might be wrong also), but yeah it's 3 from 4 or 5 from me. Just looked, last season at this stage we had ten more points and even then by March, we were convinced we were down after the Brighton game.
  14. Other teams are picking up points, if we are 6 or more points behind 17th come January, then it may well see a struggle. We are already 6 points off 16th and I can see that increasing with the run of fixtures we have between now and January. Only hope I have is that we get a manager AND COACHING STAFF, that will pick the correct team, set the correct tactics and motivate the players. If we are cut adrift come January, then I think we will struggle to sign the quality players required. I know going down would probably be only a temporary setback, but it would be so furstrating.
  15. The fact he renewed Bruce's contract for no reason and thus giving him a whopping pay off, tells you everything about that cunt.
  16. You don’t pick them for a start.
  17. He’s a big part of it and if you and others can’t see that more fool you and them.
  18. Most of the things applied when he was the coach also, or have you forgot the previous 8 games. Do you not think he was coaching the team also the last two weeks or was Agnew promoted.
  19. The fact that he allows teams to basically have the ball (and space) for the entirety of a game without any pressing whatsoever. The fact that he selects players who are an obvious weakness to the team. The fact he holds off making substitutes causing confusion within the team. The fact that we currently have no threat whatsoever as an attacking force and the fact the last two games we could easily have conceded five in both despite attempting to set us up to be more solid.
  20. I’ve seen nothing to remotely suggest he is a good coach.
  21. Of course they have and that was easy to see what would happen, before a ball was kicked. That decision to hold the subs was Sunday League stuff.
  22. If you stand off players allowing space all over the pitch against the top teams, they will make it count.
  23. Well this performance was so predictable despite some trying to call out bedwetters. Jones is a massive part of the problems we have had and it’s pretty obvious also.
  24. Why fuck hold up the subs which causes confusion. Honestly man
