  1. We will JUST if it is completed by March. However, the question has to be asked if PIF will then wait until the end of the season, to make sure they are taking over a Premier League team if arbitration does bear fruition. Ashley playing stupid games as it's going to be at least 5 weeks (probably more) before we get a decision - quite a few games to be played during that time period.
  2. It would have made things a lot "smoother" but it's not dead. It could be that now KSA have the ball well and truly in their court and are saying - get the takeover done, and then we'll allow Bein to broadcast. That's just pure speculation atm but it's a theory that Jacobs has and imo would be a perfect move. If that is the case we can expect Bein to want this moved along quickly. If not then there basically paying the PL to broadcast in KSA, and not actually doing it... Ok, I just got the impression last night that Keith thought it had to happen for the takeover to go ahead. Nothing is going to be concluded until this arbitration is done either way, which hopefully will be by February/March.
  3. If that is right about KSA still blocking BEIN, then according to Keith yesterday wasn’t that a requirement he felt had to happen for the takeover to be approved? Pretty sure he said he was hoping on positive news on this by next week. Doesn’t look like that has happened looking at Ben Jacobs tweets. I’ll be pleased when this arbitration is done then we can be done with it once and for all.
  4. No. But it will almost certainly rule out a deal being done without the need for arbitration. If they are still blocked, then its off to arbitration. We should win that and apparently have very strong evidence (which I can completely believe), the only downside to that is if we and the PL can't agree on the 3rd arbitrator, then it'll be someone from the FA. No prizes who you think they will side with. If that fails, the NCSL will have their legal battle. At this point we'll probably be in the Championship, the season will most definitely be over at least. So God knows what will happen then. But that's the apparent road map of how it will play out from now on in. So basically so much still in the balance . Could go either way yet we still have the clowns on here saying it’s definitely going ahead. Logical bollocks Whitley park The way to look at it is that the end is near either way and everyone can then put it to bed and move on whatever is decided.
  5. I just can't see PIF wanting to buy us in the Championship, there's every chance they buy us and we still go down though, which would be a proper sugar daddy football manager style situation A little part of me wants us to get relegated after being bought just to see what it looks like 哈哈? And by the way, I was quite surprised to hear Keith says De Marco knows what he’s doing with his photos. “The bread took along time to prove”. I can’t tell if he’s evil or brilliant. It’s a total p*ss take if you ask me. The first ‘bread’ pic with the brown ale is months ago and here we are months down the line still waiting. Thought the guy was a professional ffs Lighten up man f*** sake. Mate you are the one getting excited over a picture of bread. I’m just questioning why he’s doing it. It serves no purpose other than to wind fans up. He must have his reasons why maybe a way to let the fans know things are moving as he can’t in legal terms - who knows why he is to be honest. The important thing to look at is his legal record and reputation which is very impressive.
  6. Not really, the tests in the EFL are basically the same anyway. Just no idea how they would feel about it but you would think they would side with the PL. I just can't see PIF wanting to buy us in the Championship, there's every chance they buy us and we still go down though, which would be a proper sugar daddy football manager style situation I still maintain that Ashley is playing his silly gambling games again, which may possibly wreck the whole thing as I don’t think PIF would be interested in a club in the championship. We are seeing Burnley (who were miles behind) now clear and Brighton and Fulham closing up also. If he waits until the arbitration is sorted you could be talking at least 5 weeks and a lot of games played in that period. Those points could well be the difference at the end of the season. PIF may well decide to wait until the end of the season either way now. Time will tell.
  7. . Nope all directors would be subject to the test once we were promoted.
  8. Championship player. I always wondered why Bournemouth let him go when they were in the Premier League after his first year here. As soon as we were promoted it was very easy to see the reason why.
  9. I don’t think you’re far off the mark mate. Time will tell, we should know one way or another by the end of next month. Need it to be clarified either way so everyone can move on. Yep it's certainly keeping me busy and giving me something to do. Quite enjoy looking through all the rumours, speculation and possible leaks and trying to piece bits together. Much more enjoyable than than actual football at the minute obviously. That’s why it requires to be resolved as people can then make the decision to switch off completely if the takeover does collapse. I knew Ashley was a clueless clown when it comes to running a football club, but, even he has surpassed himself on another level this time.

  11. Not a hope in hell will Ashley change his price as he's shown in the past. He would just keep hold and gamble (again) on coming straight back up. If we go down we can forget a takeover, the only hope is that a positive arbitration can be sorted asap. However if the situation is as bad as it currently is (or worse), then I think PIF may still wait until we know exactly what league the team is playing in. The landscape is different this time, the club is losing money hand over fist before relegation. The gamble would be far greater this time due to covid and empty stadiums. I think a structured deal would be the most likely outcome, with Ashley getting a foothold for Fraser group in Saudi as a sweetener. If that's the case why is Bruce still the manager. Nothing has suggested to me that Ashley is doing anything different from last two times. Any other club and Bruce would be gone by now and failure to act (especially as the arbitration is still weeks away according to Caulkin) does not cry out to me Ashley has learned one thing from previous years.

  13. They were. Correct, but, still could and should have scored 4 or 5 so what does that tell you. That 20 minute spell before Gayle came on has given him a get out of jail card for another couple of games.
  14. He can crap on all he wants about a partial improvement in the 2nd half, his team has still been beaten by a newly promoted team which should have scored 4 or 5 and had by far the better opportunities. This cunt is taking us down and fast but his bullshit comments he will no doubt mouth off will keep him in the job another few weeks at least.!It’s a absolute crime he will still be there as he would have been sacked weeks ago at any other club.
  15. It’s either a positive result in the arbitration or bust for me. Other legal routes could take years to resolve and who’s to say they would get a positive outcome also. Looks like the arbitration still has a month to run also, so we’ll all just have to wait.
  16. I reckon Joelington (f*** knows why), Fraser and one (if not both) of the Longstaffs will be playing. Just a guess mind. I can see Joelinton starting because Carroll and Wilson looked absolute rubbish together but think we'd be better off playing Almiron as a #10 instead. Wouldn’t disagree with that especially as Joelington is just utter shit, but, we all know Bruce and I wouldn’t be surprised if Almiron was on the bench.
  17. I reckon Joelington (fuck knows why), Fraser and one (if not both) of the Longstaffs will be playing. Just a guess mind.
  18. I found it a bit silly when the NCSL bloke the other week stated a reporter (obviously Kennedy) had went shitting (my interpretation not his) himself, about an article he had wrote about Tottenham talking to PIF before us. Another reporter (obviously Edwards) had rang Kennedy to say Tottenham were coming for him in legal terms, for the article being incorrect. Kennedy was worried the NCSL bloke said that the story he published (which had been given to him by the NCSL bloke) wasn’t correct. Think Kennedy like Caulkin before is just publishing what he’s told. At least Caulkin has learned his lesson from that and keeps mainly stun now.
  19. As I stated at the top of this page wait for the arbitration to concluded. It’s pointless trying to work out what will/won’t happen until it does.
  20. Unfortunately nothing is going to change until the arbitration runs it process. It’s frustrating, but, nobody can be sure what is actually happening until it’s completed.
