  1. Yeah agree both should have been saved, as he got a good hand to the ball and not just his finger tips. Mind the number of errors by goaslkeepers in general the last couple of seasons, seem to have increased quite a bit from previous years in the games I have watched. Still (as I know you will probably agree), our first choice number 1 and a very good quality keeper for a lower table side.
  2. Leicester's pace and movement in midfield and up front will tear us a new one. They will walk through our midfield like butter (as Willock will be benched again no doubt) and our slow back three will not cope with the pace and movement of Vardy and Iheanacho. Rafa down at their ground especially, used his nous to cope with the threat pretty well, but with Bruce in charge, they have had out number big time and totally dominated the three games under his 'leadership'. I honestly fancy Leicester to score 4, 5 or even 6 on Friday. Can't wait to see St Max coming deep into his own half to try and get some of the ball for the second game in a row.
  3. Shame that we can't see into the future; as I don't think many (on here anyway) would give two fucks if Ashley and Bruce are still runnng the show next season.
  4. I agree with you 100% for the first year or so, my main issue was his inconsistancy and his overall shooting ability in the first couple of seasons. Agree also, that over the last season and a half (he had a period in the first half of last season when he did ok/average/reasonably well - depending on opinion), where his influence in games over this period is virtually ziltch; and his hollywood balls; 95% (if not more) of the time; go straight to the opposition and nowhere near their actual target. He also looks like he is not bothered or trying throughout the games, which in unforgiveable, especially as he is the current captain of the team.
  5. I tell you what as much as some try to pick faults with Rafa (not on here mind), there is no way he would have allowed the players to put in that performance. Mind, one of the main culprits, probably wouldn't even be at the club if Rafa was still here.
  6. He won't be if he has to keep going deep into his own half to try and receive the ball like he did today.
  7. He was for that period of time, as most teams had players like him (not as good mind), he kept the ball and supplied the more creative players in the team. Mind, he used to get forward at times and scored a few very good goals for a player in his position. You're right though I don't think he would be as appreciated or as effective in today's game, though on thinking, I do see some similarities between him and Fernadinho in how they play their roles (before anyone pipes up, I did not say Batty was as good a player).
  8. Aye thanks, I totally forgot about Willock, with him not playing today
  9. Very rarely more than five metres from the central defenders I would imagine, in fact for most of the game we were playing with a back 5 (this excluding the full/wing backs) as Longstaff wasn't that much further forward either most of the time.
  10. He is so fucking lucky that he has two very decent players in Wilson and St Maximin, who have done enough with their individual strengths and ability to have a hand in very important and needed goals when available; thus getting the key results to keep the team up. Even then, with both available and playing, there is no structure and it's only odd moments of isolated opportunities/brilliance. Any decent manager would strive to get the best out of his key players, by ensuring they are utilised to their potential and the rest of the team is structured to allow this to happen. The sight of St Maximin time and time again having to come into his OWN half to receive the ball was absolutely scandoaous. Fuck you Bruce you absolute useless cunt.
  11. Allegedly on 80 grand a week also which makes it worse. He has ability no doubt, but it's easy to see more and more why first Liverpool and then Swansea were more than happy to let him go.
  12. Mind to be fair to Shearer (I've been critical of him for not coming out about Bruce also) he was very vocal when it first came out and actually went on breakfast tv for an interview and didn't shy away either.
  13. Probably more for one reason only, Colback did put some effort in. This cunt just annoys me more every passing game the way he swans around totally uninterested. Ultimately though it's down to the prick in charge for picking him,
  14. I think we will lose the next two no doubt, but I just don't think Fulham will win the two games either. I honestly think they actually will lose at least one if not both. Time will tell though as we don't know until the games are played.
  15. Surely Man Utcx will be given a fine for not controlling the situation. Don't know how crowds were allowed into the stadium as surely they knew the protest would happen.
  16. if it does then I would be the first to come on here and say yeah you're right and I was wrong, just can't see it though.
  17. Looking on their threads the last few weeks for a gander, the vast majority of them are saying they're gone.
  18. It hasn't though - no team has ever made up a 9 point gap before witthin 5 games (now 4)
  19. They didn't have a 9 point gap to overcome though no team has done that in such a short amount of games.
  20. Over the season we have seen with both Burnley and Southampton that they can turn in performances to get the results on a far more regfular basis. Not seen that from Fulham to be honest especially since that little spell which cumulated with the Liverpool away game when they won. Of course we won't know until the games are played. but currently I'm confident we already have enough points (very luckily I might add)
  21. Toss up between this one and Brighton for the worst of the season. I’d pick this, as we were playing an Arsenal missing players, protecting players and nothing to play for. Bruce’s tactics today were an utter joke, more than anytime before and the thought of him in charge again next season is soul destroying. If it happens it will be enough for me to walk away.
  22. It’s disgusting he’s anywhere near it as we all know. The useless cunt offers absolutely nothing and makes the team so open. A prime glittering example as why Bruce is fucking abysmal. I cannot face the thought of another season under the cunt.
  23. Pushing Brighton for worst performance of the season. Absolutely clueless in midfield (no surprise) and defence.
  24. what position is Almiron trying to play he looks totally lost and not sure if he should be back or up front. Where’s Jones front three disappeared to?
  25. Being totally overrun in midfield every time they get the ball, they just waltz through untouched
