Well someone else who has replied to you has thought exactly the same. Can't be arsed replying to you anymore to be honest, so I'll leave it there.
-
It was you who was going against my point and using the 'old days travel' as an excuse. I'm just saying that's bollocks, if you don't agree that's fine.
-
Travel would have been available in those times also. Bullshit excuse imo
-
Most support choices comes from their parents or family members. I don't think travel comes into it at all, as that is certainly not the reason you go and support a team. You can get public transport to Sunderland via Durham/Darlington. Yes in terms of rail travel it may take longer, but I certainly don't agree (mackem excuse), that you support a team based on travel time.
-
I see the catchment area has emerged (I knew it would) and that it's easier to travel from 'Darlington/Durham' to Newcastle. Usual last stand bollocks from the deluded fuckers
-
They will, we know the reason why though
-
Not to big up the Mags but they generate a lot more gate receipts but then again they had the 90's helping their fan base. In that 2016/17 season they generated £27m to our £8.9m which equated to £27 per fan per game to our £11. I wonder why that is
-
They will go to their usual final defence of 'catchment area', which is absolute bollocks with the two clubs only being about 12 miles apart.
-
Before 1992 our support was typically bigger. The fairytales continue

They love to cherry pick their points, when one look at actual overall records (as you have highlighted), gives a totally different picture.
-
The previous time they were in the championship 5 years earlier and won the league with 102 points, their average attendance was 43,000 which isn't bad but that is still 12k empty seats. Mackematics st its finest The thick fuckers still can't (or won't) acknowledge that their actual crowds are a good few thousand less than their 'club official crowds'. It's not even debatable when you constantly see the mass gaps of seats during live games and match highlights.

Mind we still sing premiership with the Bruno song
-
Can't believe some are still trying to make a case for signing McTominay
-
Exactly

The fuckers are sitting 10th in the championship, if they were in the Premier League with that team they would be challenging for the least points total season ever. Totally delusional
-
Trippier broke a bone, still be some timeout if it's ligament damage but depends on the extent. He should have been taken off immediately though
-
RTG implosion incoming
-
Their match thread on us is absolute gold
-
Obviously taking the faux outrage thread on us off public viewing has worked well then, coupled with a defeat and sliding down the league
-
One name Alexander Isak none of the north east media had a fucking clue then.

Massive opportunity to put some clear distance between a few teams now, please don't fuck it up lads
