Those people are only here because PIF are involved, they wouldn't be if they were not.
-
Rice was on a different level today. Paqueta was good first half, but faded in the second. Rice was excellent throughout

I think you need to read Maguire's piece on it. Commercial revenue will already have increased with the sleeve sponsorship and the partnership deals for 2022-23. We will see for this years accounts later on when they're released.
-
Read Maquire's piece on it. 2021-22 accounts have not been released either and you're forgetting the owners have put money into the club this last year. I don't know where you're getting the 50 million figure from as the operating loss for the previous published accounts 2020-21 was £13.7 min

I think you need to read Kieran Maguire's summary of FFP. Covid also had an effect which lessened losses during that period and adjusted financial figures for FFP
-
They're not though and this is without the sponsorship/commercial deals still to come through
-
Typical the two players you need to change that game are the two players missing. I still maintain that a massive opportunity was missed during the window

Need to sort it out or I can see a defeat. Max is offering nothing he's hugging the line and making no runs at all. Hopefully Howe gives them a rocket

Longstaff at Blackpool went ok also

Unfortunately for them they have to give an accurate crowd for a cup game. Their excuses are laughable mind

Grumpy Old Cunt is praying that human rights issues will be included and our owners will be banned as a result.

https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/new-football-charter-on-club-owners.1599523/page-3 I see Grumpy Old Cunt desperately trying to convince himself and his faux outrage buddies, that a new regulator will stop PIF from being unable to own the club. Wonder if he got advice off his PhD son

I bet Howe is grilling him non stop this week for inside info on West Ham's team play.
-
So are they though, very hard game to call.

Looks like it's their new comfy blanket. Problem is it's a load of shit. We are playing better football, creating more efforts, more goals per game ratio and at a higher level. Got no problem saying Sunderland play some decent stuff at times, but they go on as if they totally play teams off the park and dominate games, when that is far from the case.
-
Still cold weather season also
-
Let the fuckers rot out the championship for the next few years with their unplayable multi goal footballing excellence
-
They don't play good football. They play grinding football. As said a few times, they are the Wycombe Wanderers of the PL. Pope and the back four are all big lads and stop the aerial threat and set pieces. They pack their box and hit on the break, the fact that other than last night, they hardly concede but aren't big scorers either says it all. Imagine the Mags are happy to be 4th but not attractive to watch (not for the neutrals). Not saying they don't have good players but the style is instantly forgettable. I think going forward teams will adapt to play against them and be interesting if the likes of Almiron can stay at the level they are now but never were under Bruce. Broken

How would you rate our January 2023 Transfer Window?

Missed opportunity and more concerning a big gamble in terms of injuries/suspensions as highlighted by Bruno's sending off last night. Personally I'm struggling to even give it a five. Proof will be in the pudding at the end of the season.
