I find it really interesting how some managers get more stick than others. Arteta tipped for the sack, never any mention of the same for Ancelotti, yet they’re separated by a point. Yet Potter with Brighton, one place above them (and never really looking like getting relegated), is mentioned for the boot.

Letter before action Am I reading the wrong one? I can’t see anywhere where it states the reasons BeIN’s letter is illegal.

Is it illegal? How would that be anti-competitive? BeIN have no role to play in the league, they just own the TV rights for a set period. Would it be illegal for Sky to write a letter to oppose our takeover? Seems a bit bizarre.

You could argue that about any organisation though, couldn’t you? I.e. do Russia have control over Chelsea with how bent they are and how close Abramovich is to Putin?
