Not sure why we’re not just paying it, he’s worth it. It’s not like I’d be concerned we’re overpaying.

When he has a release clause, I don’t really understand what needs to be negotiated that takes this long.

It's Sunday. No news is good news. If there were any setbacks on this you'd know Edwards would be cock in hand at the chance to break the news. 

Would much rather take a chance on someone like him, who you would expect would be hungry to succeed, rather than someone like Aubameyang who has been on a downward trajectory for a few seasons now.

Starting today would suggest this isn’t as close as reported. Can’t imagine it’s in anyone’s interest to risk an injury if he’s expected to join next week.

Didn’t realise their game today has been postponed due to Covid.

Would be another massive embarrassment if they don’t get this deal done after sprouting off to the media once again on a daily basis.
