Just seen Aaron Connolly has joined Boro on loan, wasn't he meant to be highly rated at one point?
Now more famous for shagging Lucinda from Love Island than his footballing ability.

Feel like I’ve landed on some sort of alternate universe reading the names we’re now linked with.

Still seems odd as fuck that they'd like some NUFC transfer news though?
Could be loads of different motivation for it - if they are trying to encourage/force a new contract at his current club or even show other teams/agents there is interest elsewhere.
It could also be there is interest from our side, they’ve held talks and he has genuine respect for the club but doesn’t fancy the move. Could be a million different things
But aye, one of those things could also be he fancies the move to us.
-
That’s making an assumption he solely manages his own account.
-
Digne would be another insane signing, like Trippier, far better than I expected us to get at this stage.
-
Southampton’s takeover has just been completed within 24 hours of it being announced.
Weird that
Obviously no piracy issues on Serbian cable TV.
-
£12m would be outrageous business.
-
I think it’s safe to say our transfer budget might be slightly higher than the £50m previously reported.
-
What I’m most pleased about is it’s clear whoever is setting these targets, is well aware of the priority areas that need strengthening.
Whether that’s the owners, Hammond, Howe or a combination of all of them, doesn’t particularly matter - but they clearly know what we need.

It's not solely because of the fans at all, though. It's because our club needs gutting from top to bottom.
He's not helping himself however with a series of utterly bewildering decisions. Players may have let him down, we may have had some bad luck with injuries but it genuinely seems like he's losing the plot.
Playing an ageing full back out of position instead of the extremely capable left back he'd ostracised on the bench is indicative of where things are at.
They’ve let Rafa start a process of building his own team of players he trusts to play his system and methods, with Rodriguez shipped off sharpish and Digne seemingly following.
What good would it do to rip all of that up and start again with someone else?
Unless Everton are in real danger of relegation, which I don’t think will happen, why not let him have this season and see what he builds?
Arteta is a good recent example of a manager being afforded time and the rewards coming through.
Otherwise you’ll stay stuck in this cycle of new managers bringing in new players and new systems and ending up with this complete mishmash.
Of course there will be some managers that don’t deserve said time (Bruce, for example) based on their entire career of failure. Rafa doesn’t have that.
Even OGS who I ridiculed for most of his tenure deserved some time to build something, although it was very clear he was never going to succeed.

But he is a cunt.
Absolutely.
It’s like when someone like Pardew is a pundit and makes a valid point. You nod along but want to gouge your eyes out at the same time.

He’s not wrong.

Well Jota got an assist on the first goal so there is some form of (poor) consistency
It just seems to be the player who touches the ball last.
Bowen got an assist yesterday for West Ham, for the penalty Lanzini converted, after Milivojevic handled the ball in the box.

“The club” must have been on the phone again to @Whitley magto tell him the deals done.

Have they not distorted the lighting of that based on the fact his thumb is yellow too?
Edit - new page wanker

Found it really strange how Chelsea seemed to settle for the draw at the end. They were well on top and then seemed to slow everything down completely.
Mendy seemed intent on wasting time.
Also completely irritating for me as I needed one more goal for £460.
-
Bringing Jorginho and Oxlade-Chamberlain into this game should be a crime.
-
The need for every replay to be in slow motion, to the point it distorts the actual ferocity of the shot/tackle/challenge/save.

Still seems surreal we’ve gone from picking players out of the bins (quite literally if they wanted an ice bath), to potentially signing a player described as this by one of the best managers in the world.

The amount of absolute nonsense they check when its a goal against Liverpool.
Terrific game though, hope Chelsea win it now they have been by far the better side as team.
VAR is used to find any reason possible to disallow goals, which is totally wrong.
