Said it before but Ramsey would be a class signing, if he was ever fit. Not sure we can take a risk on someone who has already missed 14 games this season due to four different injuries and a history of layoffs. Assuming it’s Ramsey and two other midfielders, I’d be satisfied. If we’re relying on Ramsey to play football regularly, I’d be worried.

He’s a total crock isn’t he? Thought he was currently out injured too. Haven’t watched much of Juve, but he’s been out more than in from what I have seen. Think there are far better and more reliable options than him, imo. He’d be a good signing if he was actually able to be on the pitch, but how often have we said that before.

It’s really tough to know without knowing the sort of budget we’re playing with. Under Ashley we knew we’d be dipping into bins, but it’s such an unknown at the moment. They could be looking to spend £50m or £200m. That said, at least we know our transfer ‘budget’ won’t include the player’s wages for the duration of their contract, agent fees, flights, hotels etc.

To be fair, a majority on their forum agree with NUFC’s decision to get it postponed, have rightly compared it to their own situation and blamed the PL for creating such a loophole.

Would be a fantastic signing, although I remember saying the same about Emery so won’t get too excited just yet. IF we get this deal done, it’s a massive statement of intent and would really help us in bringing other quality in. That’s even before you consider the massive improvement it’d make on the pitch.

With my position in the cup delicately balanced, I for one am not looking forward to Pep Roulette later.
