100%, TBF, it probably is a pen by today's standards, but the bar for getting a pen is so low that the punishment very rarely fits the crime these days. About 75% of penalties result in a goal, that is a very disproportionate punishment for a trailing hand that earned you no clear advantage.

Aside from that sickener, Hearts were absolutely fine the whole half, Celtic were atrocious, they offer nothing except from knocking it into space for Maeda to run into, not a single Celtic player gets pass marks and that Trusty is an absolute bombscare. My biggest worry is that Celtic can't possibly be that shit in the 2nd half. Great effort from Hearts so far, they've been sweating spinal fluid out there

The SPFL is quite diverse in terms of teams resources. Some of the smaller clubs can only afford free agents from L2/NL clubs. The guy who scored the winner for St.Mirren in the League Cup final came from Havant and Waterlooville, meanwhile Celtic have Tierney, Ihenacho, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Schmeichel on the books who probably get north of 40k a week

Why would you swap Bournemouth for Palace? I don't see what's in it for Iraola. Palace will sell his best players without hesitation just like Bournemouth did. Southampton bring absolutley nothing to the league. Nothing! They'll go back down with barely a whimper. Hull aren't exactly the Harlem Globetrotters but at least they're Northern and have been out the league for a fair while. That said, Hull fans still hold cabbage heed in high regard (probably the only fan base to do so) so they lose credibility for that.
