Sad to see Maxi go, especially for £23m (probably 10m-15m quid short of his worth imo). Loved watching him play, but in reality wasn’t going to play a massive part in Eddie’s plans. Oh well, I wish him luck at his new club. Onwards and upwards.

Great save Pope.
-
My eyes are like piss-holes in the snow, hope there’s not loads of extra time. Another good run out for the lads, impressed with Miley, Gordon and Miggy.
-
Get in Miggy

This is going to be class, can't wait.
-
Only 17 more days (not that I’m counting )
-
Bloody hell, that’s terrible news. RIP.
-
Maybe you should tell his wife and son?
-
Class player and always come across as a nice bloke, sad day. I remember watching him and recall the million pound transfer in 79 (I think). RIP Trevor.
-
Seems like a lot of your supporters are sad to see him go.
-
His dad is Paul Barnes, ex-pro footballer.
-
Aye, he’s economical with the truth wor Eddie.
-
Great signing, pleased with this. Howe will improve his game.
-
Here we gan. If we were doing that surely 150 million would be the price tag.
-
Would be more than happy with this lad.
-
The article says his market price is 35 million quid. Yeah righto, I’m sure that’s what Villa payed for him from Brentford.
-
Tim Berners-Lee must be so proud of it’s usage.
