Even a much improved Longstaff under Eddie lacks class and ability. He'll be a great squad player but he just haven't have "it" whereas Bruno definitely has it and Joelinton is such a monster he doesn't need it.
-
He's so good he could definitely play there

Tammy impressed in a strong Chelsea team and then in a much weaker league in Italy. I rate Tammy a lot. Wilson is superior on his day imo. Unfortunately he's very injury prone so got to put Tammy ahead, might be inferior but he's miles younger and doesnt get injured as much. I'd rather have a 15 goal a season guy than a 10 a season guy who's actually better. BUT... he might not get injured, thus making him far superior.

I didn't realise how good he was when he was at Bournemouth, I was happy with the singing at the time, I thought 20 mil was great business but I did not realise he was so good. He really should be in the England squad. If he wasn't injury prone he'd be up there.

We were absolutely dominant today, we didn't just have more quality than Forest, we had superior work rate and energy too. Absolutely delighted and Wilson's finish was insane, no right to score that.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Mountain replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
If they actually will sell at 60 million then we should get it done. Maddison is a superb player. I have a feeling if we bid 60 mil they'll say they want 70 and then 80 etc -
That attack was a direct result of Longstaff passing a crap ball into Almiron. No need to play that pass when Almiron was under so much pressure.

It's the most contradicting thing. How can a team that scores so many goals be so boring? Yet often they are. I think it's the lack of counter attacking goals due to most teams sitting back, it's their switching left to right and right to left in front of the opposition box ad infinitum. Honestly I don't know what exactly it is but somehow they're often boring. The majority of their goals are turd Fifa video game goals where it's a cross on the floor along the box for a tap in. Now they've got Haaland maybe they'll be more fun to watch.

I respect that. Personally I had zero reservations, I hate booking stuff in advance.

I think those "wobbles" were on purpose He was essentially saying "Don't ask me, I'm just a football manager, I don't know anything about anything else, sorry" but in a more professional way. He has an opinion he's just keeping that quiet and away from the media as it's a hiding to nothing. He basically got away unscathed while offering no strong opinion for or against

You nailed it, Paqueta seemed happy when he visited. He's sampled the crisp air.
-
Made me laugh, you nailed it

Very pleased with the second half. We desperately need another quality midfielder, if Bruno gets injured we're really going to struggle with possession.

Pep loves him and broke City's transfer record for him. He'll have a great season barring injury imo.

HEY GUYS WELCUM TO ANNAW VIDYO ON THA CHAHNNUW

Just shows how good that Osimhen is, 22 years old with a 1 in 2 goal ratio.

The issue is Arsenal have a 60k stadium. Once St James is extended above that number we are officially a bigger club than Arsenal. Big clubs aren't just based on stadium size but it will silence their main claim. Nobody cares that they won a prem 18 years ago except themselves. So a bigger stadium would seal the deal imo.

I agree with everything but how did he miss this, literally a freak save, incredible.

Really unique too, never seen a goal like that since
